This L'Oréal Paris Liquid Foundation has completely won me over. The Coverage & Shade Match This foundation matches my skin tone so much better than my previous go-to. I was always doing slight touch-ups throughout the day because the shade wasn't quite right, but this one blends seamlessly with my complexion. It's like it was made for my skin specifically. Less Product, Same Results What really impressed me is how much less I need to use. With my Infallible foundation, I was using a full pump or more to get adequate coverage. With this L'Oréal Paris Liquid Foundation, I use significantly less product and actually get better results. This is huge for my wallet — the bottle is lasting way longer than I expected. Longevity is Unreal This is where it really shines. Other brands I've tried fade or break down by mid-afternoon, but this foundation lasts all day. I'm talking morning through evening without major touch-ups. It stays put, doesn't oxidize weirdly, and maintains its finish throughout the day. The Switch Was Worth It I was hesitant to switch from a foundation I'd used for so long, but I'm genuinely glad I did. Better shade match, less product needed, longer wear time, and it performs better than other brands I've tried. That's a win across the board. If you're on the fence about trying this, I'd say go for it. It's a solid foundation that actually delivers on its promises.

This is hands down the best foundation ever. I’ve tried many (Makeup Forever, Fenty, Pat McGrath, Shiseido) and this one beats them all. It is priced higher than other drugstore foundations, but it’s still a steal for the formula. I have dry, flaky skin in areas from acne treatment but oily areas too. This foundation balances all those areas, leaving a natural skinlike finish, not dewy or matte. It doesn’t enhance texture or flakiness. The texture is quite liquidy and lightweight and you can’t feel it at all on your skin. I like to pump it on the back of my hand and stipple it in with the Elf Ultimate Blending Brush. It has a nice scent, but not overpowering. I can’t smell it unless I’m purposely trying to get a whiff. The longevity is the standout. It’s transfer proof and literally looks the same, if not better, by the end of the day. I went snowboarding for 6 hours and this did not transfer onto my helmet, did not even enhance dryness that I get from being out in the cold. If you’re on the fence, get it.

I’m someone who rarely wore makeup. I didn’t like the way it felt on my face and I only wore it on special occasions. However, I’m over 45 now and have a few freckles and dark spots and thought I should start a skincare and makeup routine. I ran into problems trying to find a shade match in the beauty store. After doing a lot of swatching at the beauty store and finding some foundations that seemed close, I was disappointed that one of the better marching ones oxidized and turned orange/bronze on me after a few hours. I tried again with Nyx Blur and L’Oreal Infalliable. The Nyx was terrible on my skin. Wrong shade, but it also looked weird - runny and patchy. The L’Oreal Infalliable 460 Golden Beige was very close, but just a hair orangey to me after wearing it. I decided to go a shade down and switched to a neutral undertone rather than warm, because this foundation was perfect in every other way - it had less oxidation than the previous Maybelline powder foundation I tried, it had better coverage (medium to full), and it was soft and light on my skin. I took a chance and ordered the 455 Natural Buff. I’m in love!! This is the closest shade match I’ve found. I put it on my face and it looked good. I decided to try some on my neck, which can sometimes look slightly lighter than my face, and the makeup on my neck was almost imperceptible from my skin. When I showed my partner my makeup and sent photos to my best friend, both said the foundation looked exactly like my skin and it didn’t look like I was wearing makeup. The quality of the makeup is good. There is a very slight tackiness to it, but it’s not unpleasant. It also seems more hydrating compared to the Nyx makeup. It’s also easy to build up. I can wear it as medium coverage with one coat or full coverage if I layer more on. When I use two coats, it looks very nice and smooth in photos. I would happily buy this again and recommend it to others. This is probably the best quality of makeup I’ve used, apart from a brief period of using bare minerals. And I like that L’Oreal offers a nice shade range so it’s easier to find your matching color. Having fair, olive-toned skin can be hard to find the right match for!
