The top zipper is 9 inches long. The height is 4 inches to 6 inches high. It depends on how much stuff you are stuffing into the pack. The leather is very soft, so it expands as you jam more items into the pack. So far, the pack has worked well for me. Good luck shopping.

It will hold your phone but not much else in the main pocket. Wish this was biggerbecause it is very well made other than belt part is a bit flimsy but works for now
