You must clean your face in the morning and it’s not suitable using it day time under your makeup or lotion. I use it only at night not very impressed with the results.

I'm in love with this product! This is especially great for mature, aging skin, although, I'm sure it's also fantastic for younger women. I am 62. I'm attempting to get my vast array of skin care products down to those I've seen noticeable results. This feels amazing massaging into my skin. It's loaded with antioxidants. It has been found to boost collagen production, improves hydration, hence reducing wrinkles. I've found that it leaves a lovely glow to my skin as well. I highly recommend to those seeking natural actives. I will be a repeat customer. When I take a waft from the bottle, I sense a mild natural scent. Upon applying to my skin, I do not detect a scent at all.

I have been using and recommending this product since October 2021. It’s a fantastic serum and the price makes it an absolute steal so I wanted to give it a review here. This is a very potent little serum this very moisturizing and leaves the skin glowy so it may not be for oily skin. I like to use it in the evening after lighter hydrating toners and essences and then I follow up other skincare and moisturizer. Unlike other Korean ginseng products, this contains ginseng extract not ginseng water so it’s much more concentrated. Ginsenosides from panax ginseng have some preliminary research showing that they can help inhibit collagen breakdown in the skin and also aid on new collagen and hyaluronic acid synthesis. Another small study suggests that ginsensosides influence growth factors in the skin - and I love that Proot has added peptides and growth factors to their serum alongside the ginseng. This serum is also packed with anti inflammatory ingredients from the ginseng to centella asiatica, niacinamide, green tea, and chamomile. Many of these extracts also have antioxidant properties. And then we have great hydrating ingredients like glycerin, peptides, polyutamic acid, hyaluronic acid and more. While this isn’t a substitute for a retinoid or sunscreen, it’s a well rounded and potent serum that I would definitely recommend if you lean normal to dry.

I was on a *very* specific serum hunt about a year ago, trying to find something to help with aging/spots and now the bottle is empty. I wanted something that at least had 1 ingredient, which was dipeptide diaminobutyroyl benzylamide diacetate because I know that it's the synthetic snake venom, and I'd really been wanting to try something with that in it since I had tried bee venom and snail toxin, why not? 😅 So, this serum is nice and thick, not watery at all. Matter fact, it gets difficult to get the last few drops, I recommend dumping them in your hand slowly. The smell is very faint but like a muted sweet peach scent mixed with something else. I did like how this felt too, but most importantly to me was the ingredients... It has tons of peptides, niacinamide, licorice root, snake venom, and lots more goodies! I mean, it has more peptides than the name brand peptide serums or moisturizers that I see! (I.E: Sunday Riley ICE or Drunk Elephant protini polypeptide) Anyway, I love how this feels, and how it tightens my skin up just a tad with all the thorough hydration taking place. Will probably get more soon! Do wish the bottle wasn't so wide though. Little less counter space taken would be nice. It barely fits in my medicine cabinet. But overall, 9.1/10.

So far it’s meh but I really hate the smell and it’s sticky. This is the first ginseng serum product that does not smell anything like ginseng! Why is that??? I’m certain some people don’t like the earthy root smell but I do. It’s a no for me but I’m glad others feel this is working for them.
