Made the international trip a lot nicer
I had a friend buy a portable/folding seat cushion for his international trip and I thought, that was smart. So, when I was about to take an international trip I decided to look into a seat cushion. I was a bit setback by the price of some of them. But this one was 30% less and had the same features. So, I took a chance. My flight was 10 hours and I can tell you this made a huge difference. On my prior international trips I would get a numb butt towards the end of the long flight and no matter how many times I got up and walked the isle it quickly became uncomfortable after sitting back down. With this cushion, I sat the whole time and only got up to use the latrine. It made a very big difference. The only draw back is it takes up some space in the back pack or carry on luggage that you may have used for other conveniences and ways about 3 lbs. But, it's worth the sacrifice. This is a game changer for trips of any significant length. This cushion comes in two pieces that is held together by Velcro so you can space them apart for optimal butt cheek positioning, or other uses. You can see this from other reviews so I didn't add any pictures. It then folds in half so it's a bit more compact to fit in your backpack or hanging it off the outer part of your luggage. I wish it was a little less expensive, but this is totally worth it.

Great seat cushion for long flights.
This item worked great for airplane seat comfort. I bought it to use for a 9 hour flight to Europe and it was AWESOME. I am over 6’ tall and long flights are tough on the old back and legs. This seat cushion gave me a welcome relief. It fits in standard economy seats.

Great for on the go
This was helpful after having had hip surgery. It was super firm and I think I’d like it a little less firm. It didn’t slip, was easy to carry and I put it in my purse. It was great for support when I had to sit in hard chairs. Other than it being too hard for me, I liked it. It was more comfortable than a wooden chair without any pillows

The on-the-go solution for Aging Butt Syndrome
I'm in my 70s, and I really notice now when I have to sit for an extended period in someone else's idea of a comfortable chair. I started looking at cushions that look like they would deliver the kind of support I want, but quickly decided that any of those larger, more complex butt-and-lower-back support devices would become that thing that I never actually end up bringing with me due to their bulky size. This little guy is such a small thing to carry with you that it falls into a whole different category: it's a successful solution simply because you actually end up using it. My wife started making off with it all the time so I had to buy a second one. If I was trying to adapt one single chair to be more permanently back-and-butt friendly, I'd go for one of the bigger devices, but since we were looking for that thing that we could bring with us when we don't know exactly what we'll be sitting on for 3 hours (folding chairs? stacking chairs?), this was right for us.

Portable comfort
Super portable and comfy. Took it on a 9 hour international flight. Fits in a carryon quite easily.

Great portability, not so great comfort
I bought this for sitting on the hard outdoor chairs at my local coffee shop. I really liked the small size, which makes it easy to carry. Unfortunately I didn't find it to be much more comfortable than sitting on a bare chair. The pads are quite small, so you get a pressure point on your upper thigh. When I moved a bit in the chair, the pad became uncomfortable since it must be accurately aligned with your pelvis. I'm a tall guy so maybe I'm just too big for this. The padding was way too firm for me, but others might like the support. I'd say if you are a small to medium sized person and like firm support it might work for you; otherwise look for something else.

Not for back pain relief
I bought this as one option to help keep my hips at a higher level than my knees while sitting. I was excited about the fact that it’s compact and easy to take with you. I thought this would be great as I could split it apart and use it in other ways once I no longer needed this after back surgery. However, nope, didn’t work for me. It’s basically two oval pads Velcro’d together. It would work great if you need extra cushioning at a ball game on bleachers, but it is too uncomfortable to use therapeutically to get relief from sciatica or similar nerve pain. Also, because it’s the same thickness throughout, it’s just uncomfortable where it ends on your thighs. I sent this back immediately as it isn’t as awesome as it claims to be

Perfect for everything!
I developed problems sitting on my tailbone while traveling at the age of 63. I am athletic and on the thinner side. I have several different seat pads I've bought, one that is at my computer desk all the time, another that I've traveled with as we fly about 15 times a year. They have all been big and cumbersome, but have alleviated my problem. However, I accidentally left one of my traveling seat pads at an airport restaurant the last time we traveled...it was also what I used when traveling in our car. I searched for a good replacement hoping to find one that wasn't so big. This has one been fantastic!! Because it is about half the size of others and folds (with a handle to carry it) it has been perfect! I now bring this to fly, travel in my car, but also at arenas or sports venues where there is bench seating, it is perfect!

You can never know what the condition of the seat you booked before you fly, this little guy has been a butt and back saver on many occasions. I have used it to fill big wells in the airplane seat left behind by larger people which allows you sit up properly and supp your lower back. I've also used it for a pillow during layovers at the airport.

This is a really handy little cushion that folds up. However, given restaurant and cafes tendency these days to have metal chairs or hard wooden seats, I really found I needed more padding. I still take it with me to put on other softer seats to help my spine.
