Dual Temp Mini Heat Gun

The item itself works great. I love the compact size & 2 settings.I purchased this to add to my 3d printing tools. I have a full power large heat gun, but was hoping for something smaller & lower heat for certain applications. Overall, I find that this works better for gently heating joints before assembly and for helping to remove a dreaded clog/blob from nozzles. I still pull out the larger heat gun for removing strings/fuzz from prints. Use this for gentler/lower temp activities where you need some control.

I love this heat gun! Perfect for removing things that have been out on with hot glue. The gun itself doesn’t get hot and there is a low and high setting

Decent price, quality item, works as described, fast shipping, and long lasting. This is my 2nd one Ive purchased because the other finally broke after 7 years and so I needed a new one. The thing that stands out most to me versus other heat guns like it is the fact that this one has 2 settings (low & high) rather than just one like the majority of the others. These things are amazing when it comes to using them for heat shrink on electrical components like i primarily do, but believe me once you have one you will find a million other users for it as well.

I mostly bought this for the heat gun, and the heatgun works well and is just what I needed for using heatshrink. I also needed a backup soldering iron though, and I ended up going with this set over others because the soldering iron included extra tips (I prefer a slant tip.) The soldering iron is pretty flimsy but I was expecting that. Unfortunately, despite saying several places in the description, it did not come with extra tips. The company stated to reach out to them by email if there was any issue, and I emailed them about the issue two weeks ago asking if they could send the tips and they never responded. So I ended up just buying a different cheapy soldering iron with tips somewhere else.

Turned it on low power for the first time. It ran for less than a minute. Didn't even get to full temp. Power stopped and smoke started pouring out. I put it in a sink while the inside seemingly burned from within. It was hot to the touch for a while. Immediately returned.

Besides having 2 modes (low/high), the quality of it being out together is great. Love it for my wrapping of cars or whatever I feel like wrapping that day, and even more so for using it for electrical things (shrink style bonding products for wires etc). And I will say once bc my mom stayed at my place while I was away asked if I had a hairdryer, my hairs cut with a number 2 btw, to give you my answer to her. But I told her about this and to use the low setting lol she did and it worked perfectly hahaha!! So it’s versatile more than you’d think

Heats right up and works for wire shrink seal but not hot enough to do solder seal connectors. Sending back and going with a hotter one.
