It doesn't work!!
This Pedometer is a complete waste of money. I just finished a walk where, according to my iPhone, I walked 5,032 steps or 2.0 miles. But according to the tracker, I had 652 steps. I wore it on my waistband as directed, but it didn't track a thing. The odd part in all this is that the first time a wore it, it worked just fine...until it didn't. Find a more reliable product because this one is not.

Loved it so much I have two colors now!
Really happy I got this pedometer! I already have the red one and I really love it but I think I might like this one even more. It doesn't perform any better than the other, they're both just as good but I like that this one is black because it doesn't stand out as much as the bright red one does which is nice when I'm in a more professional setting. Anyway, just like the last one it came on time, nicely packaged, and looked exactly like the pictures online. I've been tracking EVERYTHING lately in an attempt to lose weight and get healthier but I realized a few weeks ago that it just wasn't possible to track my activity accurately without a pedometer so I got the red one and absolutely fell in love. It's small and lightweight which I like a lot because I don't notice it when I'm wearing it. Depending on what I'm wearing that day, I'll just clip it onto my shirt or pants and forget about it until the end of the night when it's time to log my numbers. If I have something important to do i'll usually stuff it into my back pocket or clip it onto my bra so nobody sees it but now that I have this black one it will be much easier to hide when I need or want to. They're very easy to use, too. I like that I don't need an additional app because I hate using up all that space on my phone and it's so much simpler this way. I'm really liking both of them and I would definitely recommend them to anyone interested in tracking their steps, distance, or calories burned!

The clip tends to break
This pedometer did a good job of accuracy on steps, but only if clipped on waistband near hip. It has some nice features including time and distance walked. However there is a design flaw with the clip. The plastic is too weak for the spring that works the clip. The first one I owned broke just short of a year, and my second one didn't last even that amount of time. Once the clip breaks it's worthless, as it won't register steps even if its in a hip pocket. Sad, because I really liked it otherwise.

Works well after a while although at first it did not
The pedometer is the right size and has the functions I wanted without a few extra's that I didn't want but others might like. The instructions were a little lacking but it was possible to figure out how to get everything set up without too much trouble. It lets you switch from Metric to English units and to enter your stride length in order to compute miles/kilometers walked, and to enter your weight so it can compute calories. I thought these were nice "bonus" features although I really only wanted to count my steps every day. Unfortunately at first the pedometer was not accurate at all. Wearing it in the same spot and the same way while walking the same route, one day it recorded over 5,000 steps, another day 3,000, another day 3,800. I decided to post my original (1-star) review one day after walking for an hour and finding it had recorded zero steps. However, I kept using the pedometer despite its failings, more or less for amusement, and after a few days, for whatever reason, it somehow seemed to be become much more consistent. I am now getting step counts that are always within a few dozen of each other. I am still using it the same way. Maybe something inside it worked itself loose? The pedometer does have a mechanical device within it that makes it count the steps, so it's possible that something had to smooth itself out over time (although I'm just guessing). Since the pedometer is now giving consistent counts that seem to be correct, I upped my rating to four stars. I am still docking a star for the instructions being hard to follow and for the initial period of inaccuracy.

How to set stride!! Wear at Waist straight up and down! Totally readable for vision impaired :)
I will come back in a few weeks with a more formal review, but wanted to note, there are NO setting stride instructions in the little paper insert. Lay out a tape measure to 6=8 feet and lock it. with heel at start of tape walk about 10 Normal steps. divide number of steps by total feet at toe. My step length is 22". then program that in. To count steps correctly it needs to be at your waist straight up and down. Not shirt pocket, not ankle etc. I LOVE how easy it is to read. I won't count shuffling around your desk. At 10 steps it starts, adds those 10 and goes on.

Only good for jogging
I really want to like this little pedometer. It's just what I wanted: easy to use and set up with a large digital screen that I can see without having my glasses on. However, now that I've used it for over a month, I can say for certain that it doesn't capture all my steps. I mainly walk, and only if I'm walking fast do I feel that it is accurate. It's the middle of summer in Texas right now, and sometimes I just want to go take a 20 minute walk but REALLY slowly, y'know? Because it's hot as heck right now. If I go out for a slow stroll for 20 minutes, I'll come back and the pedometer will only track like 200 steps when in reality I went somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 mile. I guess the little mechanism inside that clicks whenever you take a step only works with steps that have more impact. I've tried wearing it on different points around my waistband but to no avail. I just can't get it to track me accurately. So, I've stopped bothering to wear it, unfortunately. I really wanted to like it. That said, if you're using it for jogging, I think it would be terrific. It's light and unobtrusive and would likely be very functional for you.

Not good enough. Does not record all the steps taken. No date-wise reports too. Disappointed with the purchase.

The product doesn't record my steps more than half the time.
