Ok, where has this faux fur reading pillow been all my life? I bought this back rest pillow with shredded memory foam for those long nights of reading, journaling, or even scrolling in bed—and I’m OBSESSED. First off, the faux fur cover is so soft and luxe, it feels like I”m leaning back on a cloud wrapped in a blanket. It gives major cozy vibes and looks SO cute sitting on my bed when not in use. The shredded memory foam inside molds perfectly to my back and shoulders, giving me the support I didn’t even know I needed. I’ve noticed less back strain and more comfort, especially when I’m propped up watching TV or working on my laptops Bonus? The cover is removable and washable, so keeping it fresh is super easy. Whether you’re a late night reader, ad student that’s is glued to your laptop, or just someone who loves to be comfy (well, like who doesn’t???), this pillow is a great choice! It’s my new favorite bed buddy (aside from my hubby 😉—and trust me, you’ll want one in your room too.

I've purchased several of these reading pillows for myself and for gifting. At the time of my purchases, this product was listed as weighing 4.8 pounds. I weighed the pillows once they had a chance to air out and fully expand, (after a day). In the instances that they weighed 4.6 pounds, (which was close to the listed weight), I absolutely loved them (and they deserve a 5 star rating). The times they weighed only 3.8-3.9 pounds, they were a sad, saggy, easily flattened, unsupportive disappointment (and deserve only a 3 star rating). 50% of the time, the reading pillow was delivered underfilled. Since loving this pillow feels like a coin flip, it ultimately gets rated at 4 stars. When the pillow is at least 4.6 pounds, it is just the right amount of cuddly softness and supportive firmness. I resorted to calling and emailing the manufacturer to see if there was any way that I could be guaranteed a product that wasn't underfilled but that proved futile. Essentially, if you get a defective/underfilled product, you have the option to try to return it, which is easier to do with an "Amazon Fulfilled" product. One of the pluses of this reading pillow is that it has a CertiPUR-US certification, which "means the memory foam is made without harmful chemicals like formaldehyde, heavy metals, and flame retardants." Also, if you're under 5'4", you'll probably find the pillow supportive enough for your shoulders and upper back. If you're an adult that has long given up on teddy bears, this pillow can be flipped around to give it a big hug, and it'll make you feel like a kid with a teddy for just the few seconds that you allow yourself the reminiscence. Try it - you're almost guaranteed to feel happy. Based on other reviews, it appears that there used to be an issue with with the pillow covers ripping - I haven't had any such issues. The stiching and zippers appear to be good quality. Having a cover that is removable and washable was a priority for choosing a reading pillow. When the time comes to wash the covers, I'll probably do a delicate, cold water cycle and air dry to avoid any problems with the material shedding. I suggest ordering this pillow and hope that you get a properly filled one, but certainly be ready to weigh it. If you're patient and lucky, you can get the blue pillow for under $20 - yes, really. I purchased the purple one for under $34.

Great pillow, love soft comfy fabric & size (not too big). When arrived was concerned how it felt when initially removed from vacuum packaging but after 24 hours, perfect, thank you🙂

This pillow is so soft!!! I love to use it whenever I read! It is so fluffy and I really like the color! It comes in a vacuum sealed bag, and you have to let it fluff for 24 hours, but after the waiting period, you're all set! It is a very good pillow for lounging or watching tv, and it is worth the price!

I just opened the box and unwrapped the pillow. The pull for the zipper was not attached. The zipper is not sewn in one area. Possibly more. The stitching was very loose. Foam for one of the arms was not in place, but easily moved. I cannot sew. Contacted Amazon customer service since I was unable to contact the seller. Amazon has handled the issue, and could not have been nicer. Excellent service.

Bought to use during recuperation from surgery and love it. Nice and firm and comfortable, and only took a couple hours for mine to plump up. Love the pretty pink faux fur. Pricy item but worth the comfort.

This is very soft and comfortable, but also sturdy enough to support your back. It also went great with my room decor, so I highly recommend!
