I was looking for an alternative to Dr. Bronner’s pure Castile bar soap that would be effective in the cold, dry New England winter. I initially purchased a single bar of the Bay Rum scent to try out. I was pleasantly surprised with the scent and my skin didn’t feel dry or irritated. I’ve since ordered the sampler 3-pack and each scent is fantastic. It is definitely mild, which I enjoy. It’s an all natural scent so it’s only going to be so strong without chemical additives. It has enhanced my shower experience and my skin feels good. The bar itself is thick and foams easily. The quality of the bar is triple milled so it will last a long time. I recommend storing it outside of the shower so it can properly dry in between uses and last even longer. This soap is a great value for money and easily rivals Dr. Bronner’s or Dr. Squatch. Highly recommended.

I’ve been searching for a natural bar soap that’s both gentle on sensitive skin and still feels luxurious—and Carolina Castile’s Tobacco Vanilla bar hit the mark. First Impressions: The bar has a solid, dense feel, and it definitely lives up to the “long-lasting” claim. After weeks of daily use, it’s holding up better than many other natural soaps I’ve tried. No cracking, no turning to mush in the dish. Scent: The Tobacco Vanilla scent is surprisingly balanced. It’s warm, slightly sweet, and subtly smoky—masculine without being overpowering. It leaves a light fragrance on the skin that doesn’t clash with cologne or become too strong after a shower. Performance: This soap lathers well for a Castile bar, which typically doesn’t foam much. The olive oil and cocoa butter make a noticeable difference—my skin feels clean but not stripped or dry afterward. I have sensitive skin that reacts to synthetic ingredients, and this bar caused zero irritation. In fact, it seems to soothe more than anything. What I Loved: • Truly gentle and great for sensitive skin • Rich, warm scent that doesn’t linger too strongly • Vegan and natural ingredients • No synthetic additives or harsh detergents • Doesn’t melt away quickly in the shower A Few Notes: • The scent may not be for everyone—if you prefer very light or unscented soaps, this might be a bit too rich • Because it’s natural, it’s best stored on a well-draining soap dish to prolong life Verdict: Carolina Castile knocked it out of the park with this one. It’s perfect for anyone wanting a natural, skin-friendly soap that still feels luxurious. I’ll definitely be repurchasing—and trying other scents from the brand.

This GENTLE/UNSCENTED soap is EWG VERIFIED. (It's free of added fragrance & harmful chemicals.) It lathers well & it doesn't irritate my skin. My skin was dry & itchy. Thanks to this moisturizing soap, the itching has finally stopped!!! This is the only bar of soap that I will buy, from now on. I luv, luv, luv it!!!

Left my skin moisturized- my legs were shiny after using! Lathers exceptionally well and smells good. I need natural ingredients and this soap fulfills that- from the shea butter and olive oil to the natural fragrance and no artificial colors! Give it a try

Thank you Carolina!! The cleaning power is out of this world. This soap removes dead skin and makes it easy to buff your skin. All the while maintaining your skin’s natural oils. Used it in my hair and scalp as well. The scent is earthy and clean. Comeback to your true beauty and use this soap.

Great smell, great longevity, good lather. Leaves your skin dryer than the sahara though. Good soap overall but wont be purchasing twice.

Update: after using for about 2 months I have found them to be rather “melty” compared to dr. Bronners baby mild soap bars. Even so, still will buy if I can’t get sr. Bronners (or can’t find a less melty brand). Original review: Bought these because Dr. Bronner baby mild unscented was out of stock. Have tried so many other brands and usually even if it says unscented or fragrance free, when you check the fine print ingredient list they still include fragrance/ parfum/ perfume in the ingredient list. Soooo happy with this brand as they are true to their word and are truly fragrance free. Great option and value for money. Will definitely be one of my “go-to” brands from now on!!! Buy it!!
