Great Solution For A 92’ Flareside Ford
I shop fairly frequently on Amazon but don’t ever think I’ve left a review. So I think this is my first one. I recently bought a OBS F-150 that had a really dirty rubber mat in the back. It was stock from the dealership from 92’ but was super dirty and really heavy. I tend to love to keep all the stock stuff on any of my cars but this mat was beyond restoration from both how it looked and how it smelled. Upon taking it off I learned that it most likely has never been removed as under it was filled with random things like small items of trash; green plastic floss things and the like. Plus a LOT of dirt. Fortunately because they hadn’t removed it ever, the floor of the bed was in pristine condition, unlike the walls of the bed. As you can see in the picture. I then vacuumed, scrubbed, and cleaned it all until it looked brand new. Now I had a dilemma about where to find a new mat. My first truck I ever had about 10 years ago had no mat and I put everything on bare metal. That’s just how I got the truck and from the previous owners already scratching it up to the max. This one on the other hand was so clean I wanted to keep it this minty if possible. I researched for probably about 5-6 hours total and found that finding square truck bed mats without the wheel well cut outs was really hard. As most trucks don’t have this bed body style with the step sides. I ended up deciding to try this one out and bought the 8 foot bed size one. My bed is a standard size, which is 6.5 ft long. Upon measuring I found out it’s really 6.7-6.8 ft. I laid it out and it was a perfect fit from the end of the open tailgate all the way to the start of the bed. I ended up cutting it right where the bed ends with a x acto knife and tucked the extra amount under the mat. This extra piece fits perfectly on the tailgate when I move things in the truck with the bed open. I just slide it out and put it on the open tailgate. Trying out the mat: Knowing that this is a lighter mat, the first test drive on the highway it pretty much had moved and pressed all the way up against the front wall of the bed right behind me. It was low and not going anywhere, but I wanted a way for it to stay in place. I went to Lowes and purchased 4 pretty heavy duty magnets for a couple bucks as seen in the last two pictures. I put one on each corner of the bed and now daily driving this truck for a few months I have had no issues with the mat moving around at all. The middle goes up and down a small amount on the highway but has never bothered me at all, no noise or anything. This movement could probably be solved with another magnet in the middle. Overall this has been a great solution for me to keep my bed clean. Not only for protection, but perhaps some weight savings from driving with a much much lighter mat all the time maybe saves me a bit on gas? Not sure. Obviously if you are going to be hauling transmissions and engines with this mat, it would probably not be thick enough to protect the raised lines in the bottom of the bed from getting pressed and dented. Probably best though to put those big items on a tire when moving them anyways. Definitely in the future at some point I plan to buy a plastic bed liner to cover the scratched and dented walls of the bed. I’ve seen them go for $400-$500 or more for this truck if you can even find them. But for now, this is a great cheap and useful solution. Hope you guys enjoyed my review. Check out my Tik Tok, nickflarewoo, if you would like to see my truck build and tutorials! I actually had a really good time writing this, might write more reviews in the future. 👍✌️.

know all information and dimensions on product you are purchasing
Easy to install, the problem that I have with it,, is it is very very thinly made and so light weight that it almost blew out of the bed of my truck, I wish that I would have known that so I could have got a thicker one and it would have been heavier.. the last one I bought for my GMC from weather tech was 1/2 thick and heavier but cost around 30 dollars more but well worth it..that is why they should be made to list all dimensions clearly so we know what we are buying.. it is like sellers are trying to hide information from the buyer just to make a dollar..

Descent Mat
I like this liner way more than I thought. In the past I've had both plastic drop in and spray liners, and now a bed rug. The bed rug is much have for me because I rough with all truck I had. Frankly, they're all great for different reasons, but I'll probably have bed rugs forever now. This liner is comfortable for crawling around in the back of the truck. It makes a level surface by putting Styrofoam in the grooves of the bed floor and good for lying while camping, too. However, it will keep things from sliding around. The rug is slightly plush things tend to stay put. It's also resistant to chemicals although they recommend against gasoline, can be cleaned with nearly anything and a water hose works great for spraying it out. It also dries quickly when it gets wet, so I won't be hauling around a wet rug for days to weeks. If I haul around a lot of loose dirt, mulch, or fish hooks this type of liner will work fine, but it isn't the best for this type of work. Dirt will get caught in the fibers and take a good washing to get out. Again, probably nothing a good hosing down won't take care of, but from a simplicity perspective, a broom isn't going to cut it like it would with the other types of liners. It's a lot of work to put in and the weather needs to be at least pleasantly warm during the install to get good adhesion to the bed surface. It's held in with 2 types of hook and loop fasteners that are strategically placed around the bed. It's important to start with a clean bed to get good my DIY adhesion. I'd say one person could install the rug in approximately an hour, but I will appreciate a helping hand to maneuver it around and get it situated. Once it's in its removable, but very secure. I don't have to worry about it coming out even when the bed is empty. As for durability, I hope it will last for years because it seems to be descent mat. I wouldn't hesitate to put coolers, lawn equipment, bagged mulch, tools, lumber, logs, or anything else on it. It's as tough and durable as most people will ever need.

It’s just “ok”
Unfortunately I had limited options for my 2006 GMC Sierra 3500. My truck was just repainted & i Didn’t want to destroy the bed paint with my 5th wheel hitch. The mat looks like an office chair floor mat, it’s super thin imo. I was able to cut a hole in the middle very easy with a razor blade to gain access to my bed hitch. I just put it in so time will tell gore well it lasts.

IT FITS MY HONDA RIDGELINE, WITH MINIMUM TRIMMING
ALL OTHER MATS SAID TO FIT MY HONDA RIDGELINE DON'T. ALWAYS "TOOOOOO" SHORT, THIS MAT WIDTH WISE IS PERFECT, CAN BE TRIMMED BUT I LEFT AS IS AND JUST PUSHED IT FORWARD TO ACCOMMODATE. COULD BE A LITTLE THICKER LIKE THE RUBBER MATS, BUT THE PRICE IS RIGHT
