F**!
I purchased this in 3/2016 for a family member (MIL) in her 70's. She relies on this watch to remind her to take medicine. I am a technical guy in my 40's... I sympathize with folks that dislike this watch! At same time, I challenge them to find another that can compete with its seemingly unique alarming function. When I received the watch, the users manual had font too small for me to read (let alone MIL). This problem was alleviated by sourcing a digital copy online, increasing font size, then reprinting (MIL is wise, but this is too technical for her). A readable users manual is a must have unless the person configuring the watch loves technical puzzles and/or thinks like a software developer that isn't English speaking. The watch configuration isn't intuitive, but the steps in the users manual do well to instruct. Note that I haven't handed watch configuration duties to MIL, so don't have her 2nd opinion difficulty for "technically challenged." Once configured, the watch I purchased has been reliable. I've had to revisit its configuration several times as her medicine schedule changes and I recall the process ok. The battery that came with the watch lasted approximately 1 year with watch vibrating alarm 5 times a day--this beat my expectations as the vibration of alarm is intense! I dreaded receiving the watch from MIL after one year to replace the battery... and my dread was justified. Replacing the battery on this watch is a nightmare. To perform battery replacement, one needs jeweler specific tools--good lighting, magnification, small (jeweler type) screwdriver set, and patience. I was successful at one replacement, but broke the gasket that provides water resistance in the process (MIL won't be exposing watch this way, steel plate provides sufficient protection in my use case anyway... For the current price of this watch, it's arguably worth the time to replace battery vs replacing watch. I had the tools, the battery, and hate to waste... I'm considering purchasing another for MIL though as a backup. In a nutshell, I haven't found a competing watch type device that can do this type alarming for the price. Considering the price of this watch and the relative price of everything "medical" this watch provides a specific, valuable, solution. Even if someone technically challenged needed to maintain this watch, it would seem in their best interest to purchase the service of someone "technically savvy" to maintain the watch for them. Until the market demands competition, this watch is a winner at what it does! Good luck, and Take Care!

I had no problem programming it...(I followed directions). It worked as it said it would. My daughter liked it and actually used it! HOWEVER, when they say no water they mean it!!!! Kids can be forgetful, and this thing isn't even water resistant! I ended up having to buy a new one to replace it. I would LOVE to see this company acknowledge the children who use their product and make it actually functional for them! Follow-up: I have now purchased THREE! ALL of them are now broken because they got splashed. Functionality only goes so far, and to have a highly specialized watch made for children be this poor, is unreal! FACE IT PEOPLE....KIDS SPLASH WATER WHEN THEY WASH THEIR HANDS!

I can set time, enter alarms and turn on LOCK mode but my daughter has come home from school 3 days in a row with watch reset and all alarms erased. It turns out that if she hits the D button when the alarm is going the whole watch resets (even in lock mode). I have spent a great deal of time trying to figure this out and I’ve also tried to request a refund but I’m not able to do this through Amazon (I’ve written and rewritten my description 4 times but it doesn’t seem to be getting submitted). Please help me to figure out whether I have a defective watch or if this is just a design flaw and help me to either get refunded or get a watch that works as described.

I purchased this watch to help remind my child to use the bathroom regularly at school. Once getting it, and taking the time to get the alarms set up, my child wore it for two days before the colored face of the watch fell off. I called the company to ask about their warranty policy and they immediately sent me and new watch. I set up the second watch and on the first day my child wore it, the colored watch face fell off again. I again called the company to ask about their return policy and this time, they asked if they could send me a third watch, but a different color in case it was a defect with just the one color. I agreed to a different color watch which must have been the issue because this third watch has now lasted well over a month. I give this product 4 stars instead of 5 because of the quality issues with the first two watches, but recognize that the company did respond quickly and honored their warranty. Also, the watch itself has been immensely helpful in reminding my child to use the restroom on a regular schedule.

This has been a life changer for us. Our 6 year old daughter has had issues with getting to the bathroom in time for years now and I was at my wits end. In another attempt, I purchased this watch to see if this could do the trick. It has been a life changed for sure! It works so great. I habe 8 alarms set starting from 915am to 715pm. It has a quite vibrate setting so it's not a disruptive alarm every time it goes off and is discreet enough nobody else realizes. Our daughter knows as soon as it goes off to get in the washroom (obviously if she has to go between alarms then so be it). We haven't had an accident since and she hasn't come home with wet/damp pants since she's started wearing it. She wears it everyday. You can also lock it so the child can't mess around with the alarms and sounds. The only thing they can control is the light. Nobody else needs to know or would know it's purpose except for her as it just looks like a regular watch. I did reach out to the teacher and made sure the times I was setting it for worked for her classroom schedule. I am so glad we purchased this. Only downfall is it's not waterproof....but everything else about it is great!
