This REVOX B77 Vitamin C serum is a light champagne color, which indicates that it's still fresh. With age, it will eventually turn orange or brown. It absorbs well and doesn't leave a sticky residue. It is packaged in a dark brown glass bottle, which is good because Vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid is unstable, and deteriorates and becomes less effective with exposure to both light and air/oxygen. It's dispensed with an eyedropper, which is pretty good, although a pump dispenser would have been even better, since reducing air exposure keeps the product fresh for longer. Vitamin C is excellent for skincare because it's a potent antioxidant and has brightening effects because it stimulates collagen pro. The ingredients also contain Camellia Sinensis as an antioxidant nd aloe for soothing. It's fragrance free. The REVOX product line reminds of The Ordinary, both in the excellent value and the simple, actives-focused skincare DIY philosophy. It's made in Bulgaria. The full ingredients are: Aqua/Water, Ascorbic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Phenoxyethanol, PPG-1-PEG-9 Lauryl Glycol Ether, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA

I’ve tried lots of different brands of vitamin C serum and liked most of them. Pretty much anything with 20% vitamin C works to erase years of sum damage from my skin, from dark spots to wrinkles. They’re amazing. This is one of the best I’ve tried so far. It has just what I want in a serum and nothing I don’t want. It’s in a brown bottle because light can break down vitamin C. The dropper works great. The serum itself is as clear as water, and unscented. I appreciate this, since some of these serums are excessively scented. Different brands of vitamin C serum have different consistencies, from watery to syrupy. This one has a medium thickness, neither too watery and runny, nor too thick and syrupy. It’s easy to apply. Once it’s on my face, it feels like nothing, not sticky or greasy at all. I’ve tried a couple of other brands with weird additional ingredients that stung my skin, but this doesn’t feel like anything. This works as well as other brands, and I appreciate that it's unscented and has just the right consistency, so it’s a great choice.

After the talcum powder lawsuit and now the sunscreen debacle by a certain gov agency, I've been throwing out any and all skin creams and lotions that have more than five ingredients I can't pronounce. Who knows if next year or five years from now, an independent study or lawsuit will come out showing the danger of some ingredient once said to be safe by the powers that be. I'm moving to products that are natural and organic. Revox B77 is one of the few companies out there that make more natural products with eco friendly packaging and keep the price where most everyone can afford it. This serum goes on smoothly and is absorbed quickly. It leaves my skin silky smooth with no film or residue. My skin is smoother and softer just after a few applications. I can't recommend this serum and this company enough. Highly recommend!

No matter how much or how little of this serum I use on my face it always gives off a really sticky feeling. I normally use it at night for this reason otherwise when I put makeup on over it my face feels tacky and my makeup feels like it's melting off and it's not very cute.

It has a thicker than water consistency, sinks straight into the skin and has become a staple in my morning routine. I haven’t had any adverse effects, my skin has been really well behaved since I have been using it and I think it has also started to help reduce the patches of uneven skin tone.
