I had a handheld Dyson which I adored. It broke over a year or so ago, so I thought. We made do with our cord vacuum but with our house being 3 storeys it was not fun. I longed to get the handheld back. Whilst clearing out things for the skip and charity shop, I came across the Dyson and gave it one last shot by purchasing this battery. I had little hope to be honest but it worked and we have the vacuum back. I don't think I was this happy when we bought it - I guess I know now how much I missed it. These cordless vacuums batteries are not designed to last I don't feel, so before you throw yours away, try replacing the battery first it might just save it.

I've been using this for six months in a Dyson DC59 with the original wall bracket charger and been generally happy with performance. It seems to charge fairly quickly and lasts longer when vacuuming than the original battery. Fitting it is easy enough, just a matter of undoing two screws. Unfortunately the battery suddenly stopped charging. It turns out the charger socket had got pushed back into the battery case and no longer makes proper contact with the plug. This never happened in many years of use of the original battery. Update: after fixing the displaced socket problem, this battery lasted about 4 years before needing replacement. Not as long as the original Dyson part, but certainly good enough for the price.

Bought as a replacement for an original dyson battery as much cheaper. Charges quickly and can now use the vacuum a lot longer than the old battery.

Excellent product have been using it for months now and glad I bought the battery and didn’t replace the whole vacuum cleaner which has saved me a lot of money and it’s better for the environment too. After fully charging it gives the same run hour as the original battery which is great. The battery for the vacuum cleaner was easy to replace. It fit my Dyson v6 and has lasted a long time. The functionality is that it charges well.

The battery seemed fine to start with. The instructions said to let it discharge completely before re-charging which seem out of date as it's a Lithium battery. We generally followed that and now after just 4- 5 months it lasts just minutes before it stops and starts like a flat battery should.

First class product, took longer to unpack than fit to my cleaner. Works well at once, hope it continues do do so Now failed to charge. Any warranty …??

This battery lasted a long time in fact it has outlived the Dyson Fluffy wand itself.

Rapport qualité prix imbattable, acheté en Amazon second main a quasiment 50%, la batterie tient bien la charge, s’insert parfaitement dans mon Dyson v6. J’ai retrouvé l’autonomie d’origine. À voir dans la durée…

Dura menos que el original, pero cuesta menos y hace su función. En 2-3 días lo tenía en casa. Estoy contento con el producto.
