Excellent electrolyte replacement (most important), and o.k. taste
WHAT I PURCHASED: Key Nutrients, Electrolyte Recovery Plus, Orange flavor. WHAT I USE IT FOR: Electrolyte replacement (ER) for intense, high elevation gain hiking that causes a great amount of sweating and electrolyte loss. Hikes typically range from between 6 to 11 miles in length, and between 3,000 to 4,000 feet elevation gain. HOW I USE IT: One scoop/serving per hike, normally intended to be combined with 16 ounces of water, but I combine it with 28 ounces of water. OVERALL REVIEW: I had been using 1 PowerAde (zero sugar) bottled sports drink per hike for a while (plus regular water and food like bananas, energy bars, etc.) I was stocking up on PowerAde when it went on sale for about $0.70 per 28oz bottle. It was easy to pack/use and the flavor was good, but I wasn't happy with the minimal ER ingredients (similar to Gatorade). Also, the price has been going up in the last couple months (inflation!) PowerAde also only has a couple flavors that don’t have various color dyes (e.g., Yellow #5, etc.) I researched a lot of different ER products. The only ones that seems cost effective were powdered (versus bottled liquid). Of those I narrowed down to a few that were both cost effective (per serving) and had a good balance of ER ingredients. This product by Key Nutrients had the best over all balance. In fact it seems to be among the highest in electrolytes and one of the lowest in price. The cost per serving is around $0.35. That’s about half of the lowest PowerAde sale price I found, and yet the ER ingredient levels are far superior in this Key Nutrients product. When hiking using this ER drink I don’t seem to get as thirsty as fast, and more importantly I’m a bit less sore and for less time after hikes. This seems to indicate it is indeed working better as electrolyte replacement than PowerAde. FLAVOR REVIEW: The orange flavor tastes somewhat like Tang, as other reviewers have mentioned. It’s not bad, but also not great, which is part of the reason that I use more water to dilute it. I’m in it for the electrolytes not the flavor. That being said if it tasted awful like some reviewers say I wouldn’t drink it. It takes o.k., which works for me. Other reviewers have noted that it doesn’t mix completely and a little of it settles to the bottom, which is true. However, that hasn’t been an issue for me at all since all I do is simply shake the bottle a little before taking a drink and it mixes back up fine. I look forward to trying another flavor or 2 in the future, perhaps pink lemonade and raspberry. BOTTOM LINE – HIGHLY RECOMMENED: This is the best value I’ve found for ER combined with low cost. Also, I bought another container of the orange flavor today because Amazon has it on-sale for $4.50 off (so now only about $0.30/serving). RECOMMENDATION TO KEY NUTRIENTS COMPANY: Bring back the trial/sample option on your website or on Amazon. It would be great to try all the flavors before buying the full-size container and potentially having to hassle with a return. I’m willing to pay a fair price for a sample pack, as I’m sure are many others.

Great taste, great value, and love that it has no sugar!
I’m really happy with the KEY NUTRIENTS Multivitamin Electrolytes Powder. The Tangy Orange flavor tastes surprisingly good — refreshing without being overly sweet. I especially appreciate that it has no sugar, which is hard to find in electrolyte mixes and makes it a much healthier option. It mixes well, gives a nice boost of electrolytes and vitamins, and the price point is very reasonable for the quality and amount you get. Overall, it’s a great value and a product I feel good using regularly. Definitely recommend if you want a tasty, sugar‑free electrolyte powder that delivers on both flavor and benefits.

drink it right away
I love the taste of this. The problem is if you let it sit for too long the taste changes. So if you drink it right away it is fine. I tend to put it in my 32 oz water bottle and a few hour later it tastes gross.

Great electrolyte drink for anytime of day!
Love this electrolyte drink! I can drink it anytime during the day and still get a good night sleep. Unlike some electrolyte drinks, if I drink them at night or even late afternoon they keep me awake. I only use a half of scoop for 8-12 oz. of water so its not so sweet! It lasts a long time so even though it looks pricey for a small amount it lasts long!

Made my stand up visit to the restroom a Neon color.
I bought this because of the value I thought I would get from it (for the price this looked like a good deal) but... it Makes my flow a Neon color. I sort of like the fact that it tastes like a Tang, but not as sweet. It reminded me of my childhood and those ads with the Tang Orangutan on it. (Some may not like this because Tang is sort of a manufactured orange flavor) I can also tell there are a lot of minerals or vitamins in it. Maybe too much (photo). There is also an underlying taste like those energy drinks that had taurine in it from back in the day...maybe it's the riboflavin or some variant of this or something. But then I went to the bathroom it was the brightest yellow I have ever seen. I even called my wife to come look at it to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me She immediately said 'It's that new electrolyte thing you have... Return it' I know she was right because it is the only thing I am taking that is new and the color is basically the same as the drink itself... Actually it is Brighter. Could be all the vitamins, or a dye, but made me feel like maybe I would get Powers or something and become the yellow hulk maybe... I have never had this happen to me before with other electrolyte products. Also I do feel a bit hydrated but not as hydrated as when I have used some other product before. The product actually makes me drink more, whereas other electrolyte products make me feel satiated. I would say aside from what I have said, most of it mixes but there is a bit of sediment. I have not noticed anything wrong with my body so far but I am returning it and going back to my old supplement. For the most part I feel fine even though my urine is slowly returning to normal. I will just drink a lot of regular water. I do feel a boost of energy after drinking this product and mood is also lifted. These are good things but , not what I bought the product for and also concerned about my neon flow

Works and Tastes Great
I started keto for weight loss in August and had been resisting buying this type of supplement because of other, do-it-yourself electrolyte supplement recipes available. I admittedly didn't try that much to figure them out though because the rest of the keto process---the constant macro and calorie tracking, weighing, cooking, ingredient scanning---was time-consuming enough. I typically hate flavored mixes, so about two months ago, I purchased a clear, flavorless liquid supplement that's just as pricey as this. I also started taking a magnesium supplement, which I still take. But that liquid imparted a salty taste to my water, and as hard as I tried to get used to it, I slowly started "forgetting" to take it because I just wanted to enjoy my water. So my keto flu symptoms returned. Anyway, I found this while browsing a random keto blog, and out of all the flavors, this seemed like the one I was likely to tolerate (I've read good reviews about the others, but I don't care to experiment yet.) So I decided to bite the bullet and give it a shot because I was done being fatigued and dizzy. So here's my take. I love the flavor. I hope it never changes or gets discontinued because taste plays a huge role in whether we consume something no matter how good for you it is. It doesn't taste overwhelming or fake. (I'm editing here to add that I add 1 scoop to a 32 oz. container, so if you add it to less water, it will taste sweeter.) I also appreciate that it contains no artificial dyes or sweeteners, as they're commonly used in these kinds of supplements with no regard to how unhealthy they are. And these last couple of days that I've been taking it, I've been feeling markedly better. I will update after a sufficient time has passed, but so far, my experience has been positive. So if you're like me, full of desire to do keto in the most direct and cost-effective way but humbled by your limited bandwidth, try this. Also, I saw a couple of comments about this product possibly containing undisclosed Splenda because the users developed a rash they associate with sucralose. Since there's currently no evidence to doubt the manufacturer's claim that it does not, I'll trust them on their word. More importantly, as someone who started keto four months before trying this product, I can tell you that a rash is, unfortunately, a possible symptom of keto. Less than a month after starting keto, the skin on my face (and to a lesser extent, my neck and chest) developed red, itchy bumps that drove me crazy. At that point, I was unaware this was keto-related, so I stopped taking certain supplements and considered throwing away expensive skincare, thinking I suddenly became allergic. This lasted for over a month. I only recently learned that keto can cause it, which was a relief, though I'm admittedly still wary of resuming the b-complex supplement I assumed was to blame since I've read that it can cause a reaction too. Anyway, my point is that if you're doing keto, a rash could simply be one of its symptoms, or you could be sensitive to one (or more) of this supplement's ingredients. It doesn't mean that it contains undisclosed Splenda.
