Needed to replace my old disposal. This item was priced right & came with all I needed, except for the cord.

So overall nice price. Box says only need adjustable pliers and a screw driver and maybe something for sealant but fails to mention it doesn't come with a power cord. So be aware you will need to order one of those.

This purchase was made to replace an existing similar unit that lasted approximately 5 years (pretty good given heavy use). Original unit started leaking from the bottom which implied it was corroding…kiss of death. Once you shut off the breaker from main power source you can disconnect your existing unit in about 10 minutes. This new unit literally will 1/4 turn into your existing mount. Connect the wires, mount the unit, reconnect to drain, flip the breaker back on and you’re back in business. It comes with everything you need for a new install but I was lucky enough to have an existing unit so I didn’t need to fuss with all the sink/drain attachments.

Sturdy and solid, runs well after many months and I have no reason to believe it won't continue to do so. It's a shame these burn out after a few years, but it does get a lot of use.

Must be easy to install as hubby did the job! It had been working well for months now!
