Mosquito Bits, 20 lb, Quick-Kill Biological Control for mosquitos and fungus gnats

A couple of years ago I used these, one mosquito the entire year. The year before it was a disaster. Last year when I forgot to do it, horrible mosquitoes. This year I remembered and I did it early and I suspect we will be mosquito-free again. I love that you can scatter them too. We have a lot of surface to cover on our property. The flooding runs into the neighbor's property and I can throw them right through the fence.

This excellent product works far better than all the various "traps" (propane, electric, UV attractant, etc.) I've purchased over the years, all of which were quite expensive. I spread (hand cranked spreader) a small amount over wet/damp areas every two to three weeks (or longer in dry spells). An excellent value given the results I get. I don't spread any of this near (15 to 20 feet away), nor uphill at all, of our organic vegetable gardens.

Mosquito bits does help to get rid of fungus gnats. The BTI eats the larvae in the soil. Then use your sticky traps to catch the adults. Wash and repeat until they are gone. DO NOT put the mosquito bits in the pot themselves you will grow fungi and start to literally grow mushrooms, tall and white in color...super gross. Use a cheesecloth to soak the bits in water, like a tea bag and just use the water made.

Great! As described, a better value than buying small bags over and over and over again, not by a huge about savings, I believe this product does work, but is overall over priced

Can’t live without this bag! We buy it twice a year. Nothing helps the insane mosquito population here other than this stuff. We put it literally everywhere even just dry pellets. With the dew in the morning they get enough moisture. My neighbor just started using it too because of how much a difference our sides are.

This is an amazing product. I moved into my Minnesota home, on a hill above a marshy pond, 5 years ago. My first year, I had buyer's remorse because the mosquitos came in swarms at night unlike I'd ever seen before. I feared we wouldn't be able to spend evenings outdoors and would be overwhelmed with mosquitos. I began investigating my options and found this product. This is now my fourth year using this product and I've had amazing results. No more swarms around my windows at night, no more running inside at dusk to avoid mosquitos. No more mass clouds of mosquitos coming in my house if the door is left open too long. I've had great success using this product early in the spring and then applying every 10-14 days until fall. My entire family can now spend days and evenings outdoors without any real consideration of mosquitos. They're simply not a factor anymore. I buy this by the bucket and use just over a bucket per year. I cannot imagine life without this product!

This has stopped all the mosquitoes in my grass, planters beds and fountains.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Seems to be working but i find the bits are smaller and less effective than the 14oz packages.
