This Castro oil is the real deal . It smells amazing , it’s pure Castro oil in a dark glass container . This is the very first Castro oil I’ve purchased where the oil it’s self is a dark shade and not that clear colored fake stuff they sell us at the store . I’m glad I found this product on Amazon because, I’ve went through quite a few different brands and this one is my favorite .. do not try to be cheap like I did in the beginning buying cheap Castro oil from the hair store or Walmart lol .. I’m currently purchasing a few more bottles because I use this oil everywhere especially on my hip and toe ( helps with pain ) & I just cut off my locs and this oil is helping my hair grow back fast ! I've used this oil for a day now and already I have a couple things to say... Firstly, I've been moisturizing my hair with Honest Amish beard balm and it's great for health so I only use it when going to sleep because it makes my scalp visible. And that where this JBCO has made me a perminant customer. First time I tried it and it gave my hair volume and even made alot of curls in my hair curl up with much less scalp visibility. My beard was also thickened. After J washed out this morning my hair and beard still look very nourished. Then the scent. I like natural smells. And Most artificial or people on the sweet side of nature probably will find this scent intresting. I find it very very rooting and and realistic. I have a problem where one of my sinuses is blocked and when they are both open air flow is still a little rough. Last night I noticed that the smell of this oil was flowing fluidly and smoothly through both nostrils and it gave me a sense of dejavu or higher self awareness that made me feel like I've smelt this scent before. And I do love it now. It's a roasted nutty bean smell that's f###### awesome. I hope this business comes out with more products like balms and shampoos or even a bigger bottle of this oil because I trust them 100%.. Great product over all...It arrived early inside a cool bag. Gentlemen, I hope that these words will do more than my imagination can suggest or suppose. For every Google search you will perform, many of you may never see this information on the first page of results. Rooted Treasure has an offering that, for those hoping to grow and/or are growing a beard, truly is beyond anything else that you will try, AND IT IS ALL NATURAL. For more than two years now, I have tried the formulas of the biggest names in beard products, i.e. beard balms, beard oils, beard growth pills, and the testimonials of those using those products. In particular, when reading AND seeing the images of the gentlemen with their 'before using the product' pictures, and the incredible 'after' "CHI-CHI-CHI-CHIA, WOW!, POW! HE'S REALLY A MAN NOW!" beards, you do not necessarily have to doubt them, but you MUST NEVER compare yourself to them. Buy a product, use it for a sufficient amount of time, get no results, and when you reach out to the company, often you'll be told," It's your genetics." Maybe, but when did they do the testing on you to determine this? Is there such a test to determine beard growth? I don't know, but it's such a canned answer that you accept it. Many times, what you do not see in the incredible beards is the background of these beards: the nutrition, the amount of sleep, the amount of stress, water intake, daily grooming habits and undoubtedly, vitamins. Each area has its importance, and yes, genes do have their part. So you cannot compare one man to the next, but you can concern yourself with what you are putting in your body, and putting on your skin. And many of these companies are putting ALL men in the worst position for success. As I have now learned, head hair IS NOT like facial hair. Many of the beard products that are for the face contain DHT BLOCKERS: Dihydrotestosterone. While blocking DHT is GREAT for the head 😃, it is absolutely HORRENDOUS for the face 😡. Many essential oils, which is what I am going to believe many of you are using, block DHT: coconut, rosemary, tea tree, lavender, olive, amla, etc., ALL work for the head, not for beards. While some work stronger than others, if you are growing a beard, please stay away from these and so many more. PLEASE research this, and you will find that you will be better crafting your own oil blend at home. Now the good news: there are oils that work GREAT, and what Rooted Treasure has is listed among them. For me, I use Rooted Treasure, peppermint oil (and be sure to use peppermint oil abstracted from Mentha Piperita), jojoba oil and squalane oil derived from sugarcane. Upon receiving the Jamaican Black castor oil from Rooted Treasure, after having used others brands of JBCO, the smell is.....unexpected. It is undoubtedly roasted, and I mean ROAST-TEEEDDDDDD! And that is the 'magic,' If you will. Please refer to their YT channel to learn the process of making this, as I was ignorant to what this oil truly is. You'll see what I call The Cauldron: this is the pot the beans are roasted in, eventually turning into a black paste, led by Thanos. When I use mine, if you enjoy the scent of peppermint, and even without using any other oil, you will find the scent of Rooted Treasure QUITE intoxicating. With the peppermint oil combined, on a cold day, the air surrounding you becomes absolutely incredible, all due to Rooted Treasure. In addition, I will steam my face twice to open my pores with a hot towel, roll my beard area with a 0.75 derma roller (0.25 and 0.50 are not effective enough for beard growth-this is from my own personal experience during these two years), and applying the oil or oils, I brush my beard. And brush, and brush, and brush, and brush, and brush, and brush, and brush, and brush.....I think you understand my point. (Thanks, Sheldon.) And remember to C.P.T. ~ Commit. Be Patient. And know that this does take Time. No matter how long or how short the time is, this is YOUR beard: enjoy every single hair as it grows. And it makes a difference, meaning the brushing. And I intend to post a picture of my progress after the completion of 90 days, although the evidence was there within the first 7 days. My camera is not good enough to capture what has grown, because while the hairs are light in color, they are there and that's more than exciting: that's Rooted Treasure. UPDATE: 12/15/21 - My original plan was to show pictures of my progress three months into using Rooted Treasure. While I am definitely having growth, the hairs are not dark enough to show up well on a picture. So until this happens, I will wait. BUT, to be sure, Rooted Treasure is working, and working well. ~No diggity, No doubt~
