There's a lot to love about this face wash. I use it once a day, at night, and keep it by my sink. The scent is an extra special treat, as it reminds me of the smell of earth and rain. I get the perfect, squeaky-clean skin, ready for my nighttime routine, and it feels good to know my makeup has all been removed along with the stresses of the day. I truly consider this face wash self-care, as it appeals to so many senses: it has a great scent, beautiful color, and smooth consistency. I will buy it again and would buy it for others. It's true, it is effective, gentle, and strong enough to tackle all that the day has put on my skin.

At first I thought it odd to be packaged in a tube with a thin gel consistency and directed to shake before use. It looks like a combination of a clay mask and a gel cleanser. However once you get past that you will find this to be a great cleanser. You notice first the clean citrusy scent which I love. It really does a good job of removing the oily makeup and skin oils and my face feels well cleansed yet somehow not dry. You feel a light tingle once applied. After a good rinse my skin does not feel dried out at all and my skin barrier feels protected. Bottom line - buy it! The price point is worth a good hybrid cleanser even if the packaging seems odd.

The mud cleanser face wash by Eight Saints is fabulous. It has a dense, smooth texture and cleans almost all makeup off very well. It leaves my skin feeling clean and not too tight, which, as a dry skin girlie, I love. The trade-off though is that it doesn't get waterproof mascara off very well and the cap on top of the pump is a little awkward to take off, especially when your hands are wet. That said packaging is beautiful, the product smells amazing, and it makes a fantastic daily cleanser that doesn't destroy the moisture barrier on your skin.

I love this cleanser! As a 56 year old woman, I have been looking for a gentle cleanser for my mature, sensitive, combination skin for a while. It removes makeup really well and leaves my skin feeling light and truly clean — you can actually feel the difference. It’s gentle but effective, and it doesn’t make your skin feel dry; it’s just a different feeling than cleansers I’ve used in the past. It foams up just enough without being overly bubbly, and my skin always feels fresh, smooth, and tighter afterward (in a good way, like it helps with pores). I use it morning and night.
