works great with a portable jumper, no more relying a 5v little battery that will most likely loose all its juice while sitting on your drawer/self.

I gave it three stars because the squarish part of the plug doesn’t fit the new small portable jump starter power packs I bought from Costco. The squarish part of the plug looks like it will fit but it doesn’t so I wasn’t able to use it. It did plug into an older 6 year old power pack but unfortunately that power pack is dead. I looks well made and I’ll have to purchase a new power pack but it’s risky as it might not fit. I’ll probably purchase Battery Tender that plugs directly into the wall for a direct power source and the other end plugs into the OBD. Originally this is what I wanted but it was sold out at the time. By doing it this way I wont need to worry about modern power packs not being able to fit the device.
