Intel XEON 22 CORE Processor E5-2699V4 2.2GHZ 55MB Smart Cache 9.6 GT/S QPI TDP 145W

Purchased the 2699v4 CPU to replace the I7 that was originally in the X99 system. The system is now being deployed as a home server running UNRAID w/4x12TB HHD'S and 2x1TB SSD's as cache drives, hosting PLEX and minecraft servers. Also being used as a NAS for backing up our five PC's in the house. This CPU was over kill for our needs and I love it.

First I have to say ib tech is awesome , quick to answer any and all questions and very helpful , there was a question if this chip would or wouldn't work on my x99 mobo and they even offered to take it back for a full refund if it didn't . With that being said it works exactly like it should , factory clocks pulls 3239 multi and 151 single core " cinebench r15" This chip is a workhorse and cool running , was 3r rendering an animation " blender " while I was working on a video render " davinci resolve" while my wife was playing in social media on a VM " VM workstation " highest temp was 34c and this is hours of running this way " note do run a custom loop , CPU WB is a raystorm and two 480 v3extreme rads " Definitely an excellent workstation chip , if you this is what you need , this is the chip to get

Excellent workstation CPU. Arrived with fantastic packaging, anti-static bag, secure foam case, and passed Prime95 tests with flying colors. One note: I received the E5-2694v4 which has a TDP of 150W instead of the 145W listed when I purchased but it is slightly faster than the E5-2699v4. If you can utilize 22c/44t then this is the CPU for you. I can now render multiple After Effect and Adobe Media Encoder projects simultaneously and still have a few threads left over for Photoshop, Chrome, File Syncs, and so forth. This is a recommended buy for multi-tasking creative professionals.
