The Haden Dorchester four slice toaster looks great in the kitchen and feels very well made. The grey finish is stylish and gives a premium look without being too flashy. The variable browning levels work really well and make it easy to get toast exactly how you like it. The digital controls are clear and simple to use and feel very responsive. The wide slots are a big plus and easily fit thicker bread bagels and crumpets without any problem. It toasts evenly across all slices and is very practical for making breakfast for more than one person at a time.

Great toaster. Looks really nice and has loads of features, some aren’t even mentioned in the description. It toasts well, fits an average sized piece of toastie loaf bread and toasts pretty evenly and quickly. Bagels and crumpets also fit in well. I love the digital settings and the display looks good. I also like that the little dots around the display count down to show how long is left. You can lift the lever too while the toast is cooking to have a look and see if it’s done yet without having to cancel and start again. I wish it had a bagel setting to only toast one side. But overall it’s an excellent toaster.

Really good toaster with lift and peek, allowing you to see how well the item is toasting, without resetting the timer. Very well made, and works really well most of the time The only irritations: 1 - You can only heat the two left side slots if the right side slots are also on. Not the end of the world, but it would have been handier if you could use just the two slots on the left on their own. 2 - The + button to increase the ‘toastiness’ is on the left, not on the right, and of course, the - button is on the right. For people who write from left to right, that’s the wrong way around. 3 - A little hit and miss in toasting reliability, sometimes it comes out too lightly toaster=d, other times it is perfect. 4 - The highest toasting setting (6) is too low for crumpets, it always needs more than one ‘go’. 5 - there is no facility to toast lightly on one side, and more strongly on the other - a bagel setting. 6 - the display is hard to read unless you bend down. It would be better if it sloped up /was angled up, towards the user.

Only one side working. Spoke to amazon, returning for refund! However long that takes to refund. Shame, as its nice toaster and i have the matching kettle with no issues.
