Headphone Plug Extraction Tool - Customized Metal Tube Grip Stick Puller, Tip Removal Tool With Hole Cleaning Brush

After being quoted $128 at a cell phone repair place, I decide to give this kit a try after my son’s headphones broke in his iPad. After reading some reviews, I was prepared with some pliers. I used a Sharpie to mark how far in the little tube should go because I didn’t want to damage the iPad. Then I used the pliers to grab it as close to the iPad as possible, squeezed hard to close the gap, and pulled it out. It took two tries, but even so, it was less than 5 minutes. The broken pieces were retrieved, and nothing was damaged. Absolutely worth the money!

My corded earbud plug broke off in my laptop 6 months ago. I called up a repair shop and was told it would be at least $50.00 with no guarentee it would workand I wozld need to leave my laptop at their shop. I finally got the name of the tool yet I did not have big expecations after paying under $10.00 for it. After two attempts ,my laptop was free of the broken earbud plug and I had full audio again. I did gently tap tool with a hammer then gripped with pliers. It did not come out completely but I was able to grab the peice sticking out with my fingers. Yes this tool works!! Extracted broken plug myself without taking to a shop to be OVER CHARGED for a task that took less then five minutes to perform!! This one came with two tools and a tinee tinie screw driver. The tool I used is bent and probably not reuseable .But I still have the second tool if I ever gave a future issue. Thank you for a GREAT product!!

After my wonderful dog bolted through the house ripping the headphones away from the computer leaving the actual jack still in my son’s computer I thought there was no hope. I tried a fair amount of hot glue with straws to no avail. This product did get the broken headphone jack out. I am glad there are multiple pieces in this pack because the first one I ruined completely… and the second. There is a little learning curve to use this. I did use a pair of locking pliers to get the third one to successfully pull the jack from the computer to my relief. The metal is thin which is understandable because you’re jamming it into something that is literally holding it there by friction. The price seemed right for the use so I’m fairly happy. There are instructions that could be improved upon but it gives the idea correctly.

Did not work to grab headphone jack out of iPad port. Tubes bent after one use. Does not work as a repeat-use tool.

Little tool did the job! We had to use pliers to grip the tool, but it worked! Broken speaker piece has been removed from my son’s pc, and the jack is now fully operational.

I had high hope to get the broken Jack part out of the socket but it didn’t work. I have to say that it may be entirely possible that due to the other failed attempts, the socket or the piece may be jammed too far gone. So if you want to try this tool, do it before you try any DIY methods.

Worked great! My sons headphones jack broke off in his Nintendo switch and disabled the audio. We were going to just buy some bluetooth headphones, but Nintendo Switch doesnt support mics via bluetooth. Repair shop was going to charge $120 to fix it. We found this tool and gave it a shot, IT WORKED! Saved me a lot of money!

We had several student iPads that had been unusable because headphones had broken off at the tip. I ordered this tool not really expecting it to work. My first couple of attempts were unsuccessful, because I wasn’t pushing the metal tube far enough. I then started using my needle nose pliers (one tip in the center and one outside to not crush the tube) to push it in further, and they came right out! Once I got the hang of it I removed the remaining tips with ease and quickly! I can only imagine what it would’ve cost to take them in for repair.
