Blanchard's best work ever. I've read over 50 books on leadership, and this is among the top 5. This is geared towards character-based leadership, which is very refreshing. Early in the book, Blanchard outlines a series of very difficult leadership challenges. Then he shows how Jesus Christ employed the right principles to deal effectively with each of those challenges. WOW. Useful for any leader or aspiring leader. It will appeal the most to those who want to lead based on solid Biblical/Christian principles. I highly recommend this book.

This was one of my favorite books. I recommended it to everyone I know, although I dont think a single person took me up on it. It is sad they didnt they are truly missing out.

I purchased this book due to a life group that the ladies started reading. And I must say that this book will help you in general with life such as people that you are around in ministry in work and even in your house hold. Try it out you won't be disappointed.

Seriously. Jesus really set the example of being an outstanding leader. His lifestyle demonstration of servant-leadership was pretty novel and has literally changed the world. Also, He wasn't a wuss and He set good boundaries. He truly let His Yes mean Yes - and His No meant No (and still does). If you don't know Him as Lord, this book will help draw you into how amazing He was/is - and maybe then you'll want to know more and read His word?? I wasn't thrilled with all aspects of this book as I think they could have done better to draw some of the attributes of Jesus. But I don't have any disagreements or arguments with what they wrote. Maybe some was a bit weak (unlike Jesus....!) But it is def a good book if you are starting to study what was so great about Jesus as a leader. Gives good examples and provides the basic foundation of Him as a man and leading a diverse group of folks. And does well to apply to today's world and how you can apply these attributes.

This book helped me so much when I was working toward my Master's degree. I still read it from time to time.

I love this book for so many reasons! I actually stayed in this New Years to read it but it has changed the way I view and address a lot situations. I do think that there is a lot to learn from this book about the way that Jesus lead, as well as Spiritual and emotional wellness, which Christians and those of all religious affiliations can all draw something from with an open mind. This was a truly eye-opening book, however I do add that my teachings from Elevation Church and Pastor Steven Furtick (of Elevation Church) provide an excellent foundation for this read in my opinion. I have been absolutely blessed by this book, continue to be blessed by this book, and am blessing others through this book.

I like this book a lot, it is broken down in manageable concepts. I’m reading it for an upcoming graduate class and I’m pleased that it’s easy to get through, not heavy academia. Jesus is certainly a perfect example of leadership.

Thoughtful book which would be good to read for anyone in leadership, not just Jesus followers

This is a really great book for Christian leaders. It’s Biblical and practical. It includes helpful tools and next steps as well!

What a spectacular book! This took me ages to read as I was distracted a lot with other things, but I wanted to make sure I gave it my full attention when reading it. Boy, was this book jam-packed with inspiring and challenging leadership techniques and practices! The book breaks down the leadership qualities that Jesus displayed throughout his life and ministry. It's also a great intro into the leadership ministry that the authors have built, operating in many countries, influencing leaders to be servants of those they lead. I was continually encouraged and challenged through the book - The practical tips, lists and curated questions really help one narrow down on the particulars of their leadership and identify aspects they can improve and develop. It helps people who don't consider themselves leaders step into the places they lead with confidence and conviction, and to have faith in themselves and God in them. The techniques here work in any type of leadership context, and any business or driven person would do well to incorporate them into their personal practices. An excellent and encouraging call to a better leadership style with a better leadership example.

I cant even start with this book! Jesus has used this to reveal His love for me and also helps me to radiate the love to others through leadership! I recommend 100000%

Rarely do you find a book that contains effective strategies to become a good and effective leader, yet stays true to the essence of being a Christian. This is absolutely one of them. Highly recommended for those who have been asking the question, “As a manager/leader, how can I glorify God in the workplace?”
