Exactly as described. I needed a hammer to refret an old guitar this one did just the trick I'm very pleased with the result.

Doesn't appear to be a dead blow
Smaller than I anticipated. The brass side is ok, but the black rubber side does not appear to be dead blow. It does bounce. Not worth the money in my opinion.
