MCU My Cafe Single Cup Multi Use Coffee Brewer (Black/SST)

I have had a similar one for many years and it just lately started having some issues so I decided to order the same one. This one does not come with the drain and cover that was on the old one - says optional - not sure why. Luckily, I was able to use the one from my old unit. It fits pretty well - thank goodness. I did have one issue early on, but so far it has not happened since. Luckily I keep a cup in the coffee maker all the time. All of a sudden, it started running when nothing had been pressed and I am glad I had the cup there to catch it. Maybe be careful not to leave it without a cup there!

Its a bunn , it was a bday for my gf - she loves it , its heavy , really nice , it keeps a tank of water hot so you put the dipemser in put your cup under it , pour up 14oz into the reservoir and hit the button , in under 1min you have a hot cup of whatever! Works really well ! Better than kuerig Cuisinart & other's, worth the money

I’ve been using the Bunn MCU coffee maker for years and years, and it was always a great machine that made a great cup of coffee, and was trouble free to own. Not any more. My previous one lasted 6 years, and it was time for a new one so I ordered the exact same thing. I’m about 3 months into ownership and not only does it leak all over itself every time I make a cup now, it is squealing like you wouldn’t believe every time as well—loud, like wake the house up loud. I was so in love with this machine for so long, but as others have pointed out they must have changed something about the manufacturing. The design seems the same, but the build and component quality has absolutely cratered. I loved it so much, in fact, that when the one I ordered sucked I figured it was a defective unit and ordered another, but that one has the same issues. A few years ago I couldn’t recommend it enough, but now I’d say stay away. What a shame, because it really was a great coffee maker until they decided to change whatever they did about the manufacturing.

I prefer to be able to have a fresh cup of coffee whenever I like and had a Bunn My Café single cup for 7 years but it started to be unreliable not giving me coffee every time. I tried a smaller, less expensive single serve coffee maker however after 5 days I was only getting 1/3 cup of coffee so I returned it and went back to Bunn. I like the variety of using K-cup packs, ground coffee, hot chocolate or pods and tea bags. I did keep the drip tray from my old unit as I like having that for my coffee cup. Hoping this one lasts as long as my last one.

This product seemed perfect. I could use a pod or make a single serving from my favorite ground coffee. After a few months the brewer wouldn't shut off and kept spewing drips of coffee so I would have to automatically push the button to stop it. Other times it chose the amount of coffee to make. I'd get a 1/2 cup or whole cup, even though I put the same amount of water in both times. It is being inconsistent. I have not contacted the company yet. I kept hoping it would adjust itself. I will call next week and update.

I just got this machine today and brewed a cup of 8 O'Clock decaf, loose grounds. It's hotter than my previous machine, which is super good. The coffee came out pretty good if a bit on the stout side. Definitely brews stronger than my previous machine. Cleanup seems easy enough. It's a pretty heavy machine for it's size, and being a Bunn, I'm sure it's durable, but I can't help having doubts because every coffee maker over $30 I've ever had simply did not last more than 1.5 years. I'm looking at you Hamilton Beach. I give this Bunn 4 stars for now, only because it really should come with the drip tray/cover. I'm not blowing nearly $30 extra on that when a block of scrap wood and an old wash cloth will do the same job for nothing. The other capabilities such as K-cups, tea bags, loose tea, hot water, etc, are all very nice features I hope to try out soon. I did get a cup of hot water when I was priming the machine for first use, and it was steaming hot. It's also very easy to use, just be sure to RTFM.

This is my opinion only and this is what they are asking in this review. I love my coffee and don't always want to make a full pot to have one cup of coffee. This is why I have always had a single-serve unit. I started with a Keurig, change over to a ninja, back to a Keurig, and noticed that the coffee makers are not as well made as they were when I started using them. My full pot coffee maker is a Bunn and I love my Bunn. When my Keurig broke down again my husband and I decided we would not buy another. We started researching Bunn for a single-serve unit. Nothing came up on Amazon so we went to the website and glory to be told they had a unit. After researching the product and all the high-quality features we bought the BUNN MCU My Cafe Single Cup Multi-Use Coffee Brewer. I am so impressed with this machine. The coffee comes out hot every time, you can adjust your taste, easy to use and cleaning is a snap. When it arrived we notice right off the high-quality craftsmanship. I love this machine and wanted to let everyone know, that you can find a high-quality single-cup café that will stand up to everyday use and one easy step to clean. If you are an adamant coffee or tea drinker this is the machine for you Thank you Bunn!!!!!

Makes Great Coffee when using the Reusable K-Cups. I use two to make a strong large cup of coffee. Takes a little time to heat up when first turned on and then it is good to make cup after cup fast. A Silicone Coffee Bar Mat is helpful. The drawers need to be pushed all the way in until clicked in place or it can leak not into your cup..

This is a fantastic single use coffee maker. I have used my first one for over 10 years. Only reason I bought new one is because the brew your own blend attachment has failed. I have made several cups of coffee every day for over 10 years. I also use it several times a day for hot water. Perfect temperature for herbal teas or just when I need a hot but not boiling bit of water. I live with hard water so I descale about every 3 months with just white vinegar. When I first purchased came with only one attachment now it comes with additional 3 for the same price. I strongly recommend this coffee maker.

I had this exactly brand and model before and it was perfect and lasted me 8 years… I absolutely loved it. I wanted to buy the same brand again but since finances were very tight, I thought I would try a much cheaper brand, and that was a huge mistake (it was cheap for a reason… it was very flimsy and lightweight and way too slow). I was missing my Bunn coffee maker too much, and how quick it was, so had to buy the same model again. I noticed it didn’t come with the drip tray cover this time, but I’m hoping to find my old cover if I kept it somewhere. Only disappointing thing with my new one is that once or twice it dripped in an odd way where a part of it poured into the cup but a part of it poured outside of the cup so I had to clean up the coffee that spilled onto the counter. And had to make another cup and use another pod, because there wasn’t much coffee left in my cup. Never had this happen with my previous Bunn coffee maker the 8 years I had it. I find myself watching it cautiously now every time but it hasn’t happened again and I hope it doesn’t have any other issues moving forward. And hopefully it lasts at least as long as the previous one did.

C est ma troisième et aucune n y arrive a la cheville. Mais j ai ete decu de voir que meme si elle est plus chers que les deux premieres, ils ont eliminé le tray… 100$ de plus pour l’avoir… avoir su je n aurais pas jeter l’ancien!

best coffiee make ever. The one before this one lasted almost 12 years.
