Starcodes Astro Oracle: A 56-Card Deck and Guidebook

I bought these as I am interested in Astrology (but I don't much knowledge of the subject). You don't have to know astrology btw, they come with a detailed guide book. The illustrations are beautiful and I am always so intrigued just how the author came up with this great idea! I always get great readings with these cards. For intuitive readers, you can read the cards rather well from the illustration and get the feel of each card. I do also check out the guide book for my readings. After using the cards for a while, I do now keep these cards for specific career/time-based readings. They are great to gain an overview of a situation for yourself, as well as conducting readings for other people.

Beautiful cards, lovely weight and texture, easy to shuffle and don't stick together. Beautifully illustrated, high vibration. The booklet contains guidance different to other decks.

This is a really interesting, stunningly created and powerful deck. 56 cards that are all beautifully and cleverly illustrated and are all astrology based. So it is perfect for anyone not comfortable with Tarot but at ease with astrology and wanting to explore their intuition and learn about astrology. The cards are divided into groups: The signs of the Zodiac, the houses, aspects and patterns, locations, nodes, asteroids, the qualities, solar activity. So the deck works with both a view to learning more about astrology as well as a very powerful oracle tool. So you can create a spread, pull one card or as Heather puts it in her clear and friendly guide 'have a conversation with the cards'. The cards are all numbered so understanding the meanings and referring to her guide is straightforward. The cards feel beautiful, robust and tingly (to me!) and are printed on a matt finish. My only criticism is the guide needed to feel more substantial as it is a stand alone book in itself - written with knowledge and with heart and if it were available in hardback, perhaps with a cloth to lay out, designed with the astrological wheel, so I could place my chart, it would be even better - maybe the next print?

I only purchased these cards recently but I am finding them really good. Ok I have a knowledge of astrology which I think Would really help as you intuitively know where all the houses and signs and aspects are place. However it is a great deck with clear knowledge and I feel you don’t need to know too much info on the astrological side of things as it’s only really basic astrology, I think these cards will work well with tarot and oracle cards. They shuffle really well and contrary to what other people have said I find the card stock excellent on my actual deck. I find they are extremely informative and go very deep into what you are asking. A great deck which I am sure will be very useful as a unique tool.

I bought these mainly for the artwork, and was not disappointed!! The cards are so unique and beautifully illustrated, I find myself often just looking through them in awe. But I can't in good confidence give this deck a full 5 stars because the cardstock itself, the cardboard, is pretty bad. Very thin, very bendy. After just a few shuffles, the cards bend out of shape, and the edges got little crinkles in them even when I'm being extra careful. Plus, one of my cards came with a damaged corner from what looks like a faulty cutting process (though I managed to mend it somewhat so it's less noticeable). All in all, wonderful deck! It even comes with a little guide book and a solid box to keep them in. If only the cardstock was higher quality, this would be a solid 5/5.

While the artwork isn’t exactly my style, I’m really glad I chose this deck after doing a lot of research. I’ve been studying astrology and wanted something easy and quick to reference while reading charts, and this deck is perfect for that. It covers all the elements you find in a natal chart: planets, houses, signs, even asteroids (many I hadn’t seen mentioned elsewhere!) and more. It feels like one of the most complete astrology decks I’ve come across. The booklet includes upright and reversed meanings, so it works beautifully both as a learning tool and as an oracle deck. Plus, it shuffles smoothly. Excellent Hay House quality as always.

The guidebook is very elaborated , easy to understand . It builds a great base if someone is interested in astrology and readings are quite profound.

Con queste carte è stato amore a prima vista. I colori sono vivi, fantasiosi ed evocano le sfumature del cielo. I disegni sono curati, in uno stile che richiama il bullet points journal e l'acquerello, con le tipiche macchie d'acqua sfumate e le tonalità avvolgenti in contrasto con l'inchiostro minimal da archivio. Il mazzo si suddivide in quattro gruppi e funziona più o meno come i dadi oracolo di medesimo tematica. Si hanno sezioni della mappa astrologica come indice dell'ambito di focus della lettura, i segni zodiacali ad indicare le energie in atto, gli aspetti astrologici rappresentanti le modalità di azione e, infine, i pianeti in vece di spettro di espressione. La modalità di lettura è semplice ma allo stesso tempo dinamica: si estrae una carta da ciascuna sezione e da qui si elabora il messaggio degli oracoli. Per chi è esperto di astrologia, i significati di ogni simbolo e carta sono certamente intuitivi e immediati come una seconda pelle, ma per i profani c'è un fantastico libretto all'interno della scatola che aiuta nella lettura. La carta è solida, di buona qualità e lo spessore è l'ideale per un mazzo. Opinione agrodolce sulla scelta della dimensione delle carte: da un lato, adoro poter avere disegni così grandi da ammirare durante la lettura; dall'altra ho un po' di difficoltà nel mescolare il mazzo, sebbene io abbia delle mani grandi (allego una foto come riferimento). Probabilmente il fatto che l'astrologia sia il mio lavoro nonché la mia più grande passione ha fatto sì che queste carte mi conquistassero a mani basse, ma confido sul fatto che chiunque desideri degli oracoli leggermente più impegnativi dal punto di vista di sforzo interpretativo rispetto al solito, possa apprezzare questo prodotto.

Oracle essentiellement en anglais .Les descriptions des cartes sont très pertinente et conforme au information astrologique . les cartes sont sublime ( enfin de mon point de vu ), d'une bonne largeur et suffisamment épaisses, ni trop ni trop peu. Vendeur sérieux ,je l'ai reçu avant la date prévu (merci au transporteur également )
