J'avais souvent employé par le passé, des trackball, pour finalement retourner à la souris classique. À mon avis, le trackball est à réserver à des usages spécifiques, où l'espace est compté, ce qui est le cas pour cet achat. En cas d'usage intensif, il y a quand même une grosse fatigue du pouce... C'est peut être pas dramatique, mais les tendinites peuvent être très gênantes et compliquées à gérer. Ce trackball est de très bonne qualité. Je n'ai pas hésité à racheter du Perixx, car, que ce soit les claviers ou les souris, je n'ai pas été déçu. Pourvu que ça dure...

I have used the M570 for many years. I like the trackball because it is comfortable to use without straining my hand. Recently one of the buttons stopped working so I looked for a replacement to my M570 and found Permice 520. The Permice is slightly cheaper and it has a wired version. I preferred wired as I don't move it like other mice so I am not sure why Logitech doesn't have a wired version. They function more or less the same way as expected. The Permice is slightly larger but it was not difficult to get used to. There are two additional ergonomic adjustments available which are nice. There are also more buttons than the M570 which can be useful for gaming. The only problem I have with it is its sensitivity. It has L and H for slow and fast respectively. I played around with my setups and couldn't get it to the speed I like. It either goes to slow with L or to fast with H. I am sure I will adjust to it eventually. It feel solid and well build and I recommend it for its value.

I saw an ad for a thumb-trackball mouse, and thought it was the same brand, but it wasn't. I looked up the order here on Amazon and here it is: Perixx. A brand I had never heard of and haven't seen since then. HOWEVER... it has been over 3 years since I bought this, and it is so reliable that I had forgotten about it. It has never given my problems, and has arguably lasted longer than any Logitech Trackman or Logitech M570 (the wireless version) ever has for me. Sure, I have to occasionally pop the trackball out and clean out the rollers and stuff, but otherwise there has been absolutely no problem with this device. It's automatic. It is something I never have to worry about. This is also a wired version, which is something lacking in Logitech's lineup since they inexplicably discontinued the Trackman Wheel over a decade ago (possible two decades now that I think about it). Having said that, this type of device is not for everyone. But it is my weapon of choice, so to speak. I have an M570 at work, and have this device for home. I do play video games with it (they're really good for FPS sniping, because it's just your thumb that's moving), although I'm not the best gamer so YMMV at that. But otherwise this is a solidly made device that has no signs of dying anytime soon. Assuming the production quality hasn't declined in the last 3 years, this is definitely one you want to get if you're into this type of input device.

seit es ihn gibt (ca 20 Jahre oder länger) benutze ich den Logitech Trackman wheel kabelgebunden. 4 Stück davon habe ich verschlissen, und das war nicht so einfach. Seit es den Logitech Trackman nicht mehr kabelgebunden gibt, bin ich auf der Suche nach einem Ersatz. Dabei habe ich so manche Trackball Maus gekauft und nach kurzem Probieren entsorgt. Es gab keinen gleichwertigen Ersatz - bis letztes Jahr endlich diese Perixx Maus erschien. Was soll ich sagen: ein echter vollwertiger und gleichwertiger Ersatz für das Logitech Gerät. Alles stimmt hier, Ergonomie und Verarbeitung. Die einstellbare Neigung sowie die programmierbaren Tasten sind sogar noch besser als beim alten Logitech. So habe ich meinen letzten Logitech-Oldtimer als Ersatzspieler auf die Seitenbank gesetzt und benutze ab sofort nur noch die Perixx Trackball-Maus. Hätte nicht gedacht, dass es so etwas doch noch eines Tages wieder geben wird!
