Does anyone know if the nsn has changed because i'm i'm trying to order this but when i ordered with this nsn i got something else

Hi, I'm the owner of MapTools and I'm not aware of a National Stock Number (NSN) change. My limited understanding of NSNs is that creation and changes need to be done on the purchasing side, rather than by the vendor. Contact me and I'll be glad to hep however I can to get the NSN problem sorted out. (It's against Amazon policies to include contact info in answers. But I'm not hard to find.)

It's cut with a die. We give our die cutting folks pretty tight tolerances to work with. So unlike some of these tools we've seen, our triangle are in cut in the correct location. The tool is printed on 30mil clear vinyl and vinyl can't be laser cut as it produces toxic fumes.

Does this item have tritium in it for night work?

No it does not, it just is laser cut with printed black numbering and tick marks. As well trituim is a radioactive isotope and because of this it needs to be contained to stop you from touching it and ingesting it accidently through direct contact. This is why tritium is usually found inside a closed container like a compass or a watch.

Nice tool for map. Have used many times. Kept for long time in my military backpack in not very good condition for it but it still performed very well becouse of it's good quality. Than unfortunately I lost it somewhere

Other than the price...triple what I paid at REI in the US (where I left it)...this is THE grid reader to have. Note that USGS topo maps use 1:24000 so this cannot be used with them.
