I've been using Carlyle organic spirulina for a cpl years now and am hesitant to write my true feelings on the product because I don't want availability to decrease and the price to increase! But I'm going to be honest anyway because this is something more people should add into their diet for gut health, sustainable protien and micronutrients for overall well being. This is definitely high quality blue-green algae! I add 24grams (3-scoops) to my smoothie each morning so I ggo though a fair amount of sea-weed. I had been using several other brands due to small packages and high prices before finding this. Great taste (no fishiness or anything weird), consistency is great for mixing into anything, and the price is unbelievable. I love being able to buy this kilo size for sustainability, health and shipping benefits. This is the best value and a fantastic product. Do your body a favor- you won't be disappointed if you enjoy quality spirulina!

I bought this 2.2 pounder because it was a low price at the bigger quantity, and it was a organic product, assurring its top purity and quality. I put a tabl. in my smoothie for another helpful ingredient to my multi ingredient smoothie. It mixes well with everything, as it is a fine powder, like flour. I don't taste or smell anything at all mixed in the smoothie. I didn't notice any fishy or odd taste to it, just what you'd expect from a spoonful of a little vegetable powder in water or a smoothie. I like that it is lab tested for being top pure quality. I use a long teaspoon to not-messy way to measure out of the sturdy container it comes in. And it is a dark rich color, but it doesn't stain, and easily washes off under running water, or wiped off with a sponge.

good quality and color is good, smell is fresh as a pond. The effect and energy levels depend on how often you mix it up with whatever routine you have. I do daily so I see big effects. Texture is good wear a mask if transferring into glass. This has nothing to do with sleep so I dont know why the "AI" suggests commenting on that. The effectiveness is shown over time of use

This product is great; however, the container has become significantly larger while still containing the same amount of spirulina. What happened, Carlyle? Why use more plastic when it isn’t necessary? The old container is shown on the right side of the picture.

i just use one scoop or 1/2 a scoop in my smoothy. and it doesnt taste bad, the taste is awful by itself, i think this is a health ingredient, i hope so, i dont notice any difference or improvement in my health there is a large quantity of this product in 1 container, its a good value.

I found an article on pubmed.gov that said spirulina could lower insulin resistance dramatically. I decide to give it a try. I used1 TLB of this product in V8 juice daily for a couple of months. A blood test showed by insulin dropped from about 34 down to 20. My doctor was very impressed and pleased. Good stuff!

Great convenient way to regularly supplement nutrition I use this for my dogs and myself

I've been ordering this for quite some time now and like it. It's tasty and is a good value. My most recent order arrived in a jar twice the size of the usual jar. It was still 2.2 pounds, but the jar is so huge it won't even fit it my pantry. Because it has so much empty space in the jar it was crushed in shipping and now has a big dent. I'll have to save my old jar and transfer the contents of the new one to it, both for storage and ease of handling a jar without a dent in it. Being so dusty and sticking to everything with ease, this will make a huge mess and waste a lot of product. I can't imagine why Carlyle would double the size of the jar for no reason. It will increase the cost, irritate new customers who think the jar is full, and creates an inferior image with damaged and dented jars that don't fit in a pantry.
