I was worried after reading the reviews. I have had the verifier for almost a month now, works great. I have been checking my silver bars and coins using various low-budget methods. This is much faster for checking my silver. I would still recommend using multiple methods for testing silver, especially gold, as the verifier can still be fooled.

PVM is exactly what you need if you’re interested in checking your silver and gold coins. I was very impressed with this machine. I did find that I had 4 coins that were counterfeit or subject to. I weighed my coins and I checked the measurements with a caliber. I had 2 gold coins and 2 silver coins that were bad. Very impressed.

Great if you want to know if a bar of gold, silver, or platinum is real. Graphics could be better.

I love that I can authenticate my precious metal purchases. It's a little expensive, but its already paid for itself in a potential EU purchase. The metal was phoney.

This product came as described. I’m always concerned that a touchie product such as this can’t be damaged in transit or else the calibration will be off. Needs a few items: more explicit warranty, charging light and buttons ( update? My gramps has issues pushing these lol.), and access to add one. For example battery pack, other wands etc. Instructions are succinct well conveyed. This item does not and should not be used on its own to ratify or certify the authenticity of a coin. Please note you may have a real hold or silver coin and the item will detect it but it will not confirm your coin as a real 1910 eagle etc. Measurements, keen eye of a an experienced coin collector are some other factors needed. Lastly, this machine comes with a good list of hold purity to help discriminate between 90% or other amounts.
