Out of the gate the reading glasses worked great! I could read the dinner menu well, even in a dimly lit restaurant atmosphere. The glasses were easy to remove from the case, which is perfectly sized for the pants pocket, and then easy to extend the frame to the full open position for reading. The frames seemed very sturdy as opposed to the flimsy frames I have experienced with other brands of reading glasses in tubes. When done they were easy to fold up and put away in my pocket. The true test will come with time. With previous brands of reading glasses in a tube that I have purchased, typically the nose guards break or fall off. This necessitates asking the seller for extra nose guards to serve as spares to glue on! As mentioned previously, with previous brands the frames were flimsy and would break after very little use. So far so good! Good first impression!

I bought this twin pack 2 months ago. I sure with I had opened them right away!!! Could have saved me a lot of time and headache. I wasn't able to open them right then, and they got lost in the shuffle. Then I went on vacation for 3 weeks and all the while wishing I had a backup pair of readers everywhere we went (since on vacation, you eat out a lot or look at gifts and junk:) ). I finally ran across them again while looking for something else that was lost in the pile and that was a mistake. These are EXCELLENT READERS for my money. I've picked readers up at a retail pharmacy-RA, a local grocery store and the big box store WAL. These had a far superior quality of lenses and frames. And, with such awesome convenience compacting to a little bigger than a cigarette lighter. Feels much more safe then the fabric cases. Even though they are fold-able, they don't feel cheap at all. Very solid performing eyewear. Sure, as somebody said, I could use another inch on the temples. But that would diminish the benefits of it's compact size or structural integrity. Thank you. Couldn't be happier to 'have to' wear these reader glasses when I'm out and about. I have prescription readers, but these feel much lighter and don't hurt my bridge and temples nearly like my expensive ones. I do get looks and inquiries about them because they are cool. I'm buying more as gifts. My wife borrowed on pair and loved them. I made sure I got them back, because you know how that goes;). I'll get another set, but upgrade to the 2.25's. Then, give her one of my glasses @ 2.00, and one of the 2.25's for a stocking stuffers. Then we both have one pair a little stronger for those lazy/difficult to see times:) Definitely a fan.

Compact, very easy to carry in your pocket. My only suggestion would be to make the bottom of the storage case flat o store it the upright position

These glasses are as cool as they look in their Amazon pics - and SUPER fun to "share." EVERYONE loves when I take them out and put them on - In fact, I've had several friends subsequently buy them. They are sleekly designed of obviously solid materials, fit most any shaped face beautifully, can squeeze into almost any space, are inconspicuous, fun when opened and worn and can be easily compacted and contained in the cutest, tiniest, impact-proof-ish (meaning that I don't think that they would survive the weight of a car, for example) case. I actually bought a different pair of "compact" glasses that cost more than double what these do and they broke within 3 months of moderate wear. But I'm buying several more pairs of these so that I can have them everywhere I might want to see a bit better (the bathroom, car, kitchen, etc.)... NICE readers for SURE!!!

I have 20/20 vision but an astigmatism requires that I wear reading glasses. That meant having Walgreen's "readers" hanging on my shirt collar when headed out anywhere; who knew when or what I may need to read. I looked at "Ben Franklin" style glasses in a small diameter, metal tube but they didn't seem quite comfortable (or safe) in a pants pocket. I found these and immediately saw the potential benefits of the compact, pocket-sized fold-ups with small, hardened cases. I ordered a set of two. Upon arrival, I was mostly satisfied but frustrated that the lack of full-length ear pieces left them sliding off of my face. The company sent me a satisfaction-inquiry e-mail. Thanks to the company's responsiveness to my reply, they were able to explain that the ear-pieces were there but (invisibly) retractable. Once known, the glasses are magnificent. I recommended that they include the ear-piece info in their shipments & I'm sure they will. I now endorse their product; a far different comment that what I was about to share.

They are great buys , & I like how easy it is to carry them and not have to keep buying new one's cause I broke the regular one I just bought.

I ordered a set of these in June. I've used one pair a few times doing small fiddly work and I find them convenient. I took the second pair out today, October, and when sliding the arms out the little plastic end piece that sits over the ear snapped off of one of the telescoping arms. The plastic didn't break, the metal arm broke off inside the plastic piece. It took very little force considering this will be a routine action for the life of the glasses. They were cheap but I expected a little more use than this. They are decent enough for "knock around" work but you might look elsewhere if you want quality readers. These really are a case of "you get what you pay for".

These are great reading glasses and easy to keep up with.
