This is an amazing kit for the price. To put this into perspective I usually spend this much on a good pair of stainless tweezers, and a set of 9 quality precision drivers from a German company like Wiha will cost you $30, so it's not fair to compare these drivers to a set with hardened steel tips. The 0.8 torx driver doesn't fit well in iPhone 6s. It's closer to an 0.9 torx than 0.8 but you can make it work. Others reviewers have had the same issue, so it's not just me. The magnetization isn't super strong as another reviewer pointed out. Any magnetized driver will lose its strength over time sitting in Amazon's warehouse. For $5 you can buy a little tool that will re-magnetize and even un-magnetize all your drivers in about 5 seconds. Or you can take a magnet off the refrigerator and do it for free. The metal pry tools are really nice. I had zero problems pulling off multiple screens and they still look like new. They see very durable. I don't think you're going to find a better set in the $12 price range. If you plan on using these day in and day out as a professional phone repair tech, it's a nice starter set, but probably won't last long. For a hobbyist this set could last a lifetime if you're gentle with it.

This repair kit is amazing. All of the pieces are very high quality including the roll-up bag. I've purchased blue light special repair kits at Fry's and they've always looked very cheap and didn't work well. That isn't an issue with this tool set. All of the tools are made of high quality plastic and have textured rubber grips. The screwdrivers are magnetized which is important because the screws you'll be dealing with are extremely small and easily lost. The prying tools are made from a smooth, shiny metal rather than the cheap sheet aluminum I've seen with other tool kits. The painted pieces are smooth and uniform with a matte finish. All of the sharp pieces have plastic guards to keep them from snagging or causing injury. The nylon bag is thick and sturdy, yet rolls up to a compact size. The tool bag also contains elastic straps to keep the bag rolled up. The only "negative" thing I'd mention is some of the plastic pieces I received were a different color than what was pictured on the Amazon listing. This isn't an issue though; they were still the same quality as shown in the product description. However, the more OCD of us may have our heart set on a blue spudger only to find you received a black one instead. I took the picture with my now repaired phone thanks to this tool kit!

As the resident "can you fix my phone, I dropped it and broke the screen for the third time" guy in our family, I've owned several similar kits to this one. The other ones are what I would term "disposable" due to the poor quality of the plastics and particularly the poor quality of the steel used to make the driver heads. This is the first kit that I've taken the time to review, because it's actually worth the money I spent and then some. It's a fairly complete kit and will allow you to do basic repairs on cell phones, tablets etc. The materials used to make the screwdrivers is good quality, and so far I haven't had a single tool fail or not perform as it should. This kit plus YouTube videos is basically all you need to replace that next broken tablet screen, or that iPhone battery that seems to fail around the same time as a new generation of iPhones hit the market.

I searched through amazon for hours debating as to which brand of Driver and Repair Kits would ultimately assist me the best in my daily tasks, and was happy when I stumbled upon this set right here. All the bits I could ever want (or need) were included int his set, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Already it has assisted me in disassembling an MSI Laptop with ease - the magnetic tips definitely help with removing screws which extend a distance underneath a surface (i.e. laptop screws). The bits appear to be high-quality, with the extendable arm of the driver itself adding a nice feature to get those hard to reach areas. Overall, great quality and a real bang for your buck. The reason I give this product 4/5 stars is due to the magnet of the Driver itself not feeling as 'strong' as it could be. Don't get me wrong, if I put a bit inside the driver and shake the driver, the bit won't fall out. However, I can't help but feel that, under the wrong circumstances, a bit could potentially fall out if it were to become stuck in some way. A great product which could be even better should the magnetic hold for the bit in the driver be improved. Other than that, a great product and one of which I will use constantly in the foreseeable future! Definitely would recommend this product to anyone who works with electronics and never knows what job they might run into! had to fix my ipod, yeah I still have and use an ipod hell I have 4 of them and this kit got me into my 4th generation so quick it was amazing, parts came and now its modded and up and running great, worked out so well waiting for the parts to redo my mini and increase the storage and battery life on that one too great kit seems to come with everything you would ever need to tackle an ipod job or a cell phone
