Does the job, but not how I want it.
It's got Total Engine hrs (TOT), RPM, battery voltage, engine temp. Works good, except that I wish I could leave the screen on whatever display/ option I want to, not TOT or TIME. For example if I want to monitor temp, I have to click 6 or 7 times to get to it and it only displays it for 2-3 seconds and returns back to TOT/Time. Like why not leave it at the option that I chose to see??? It is now MY monitor and I want to see what I want to monitor, not the ridiculous option that you thought was gonna fit me best. Its annoying.. It makes it pointless to have this, as if during my ride I cannot just look and monitor my ATVs temp... but at least I have the option, I guess.... Just worthless as far being user friendly and helpful. Set up and menu of this thing is ridiculous and confusing.

Temp mode stay in the window
#1 I did not like that the TOT ( running time ) window keeps poppin up. I want it to stay for ex. in TEMP mode,if I leave it there. #2 I got 2 (rpm) wires. One yellow wire whithin the CHT sensor connector, and another yellow wire whithin the voltage cable connector. Whitch one to use at the ignitioncable? A little better description please!? I use my meter on a paramotor, so it is pretty important, that I can observe the TEMP as often as neccesary, whitout a lot of ”buttonpushing”.

A great gauge that can be better
I’ve been using a Runleader HM-028 for about five years and the biggest fault was the temperature probes breaking. If you want a gauge that updates quickly, has a good backlight and is fairly accurate, this is for you. Random note my singe cylinder two stroke moped fires twice per revolution so 2p1r works best. For this new version, the spark plug temperature probe finally broke on my old unit and decided having a volt meter and new probe design would be a worthwhile upgrade. It’s been a one step forward one step back experience. For some reason Runleader decided to change the menu system. Before it was a single short press to swap between screens and was pretty easy to do while riding. Now it’s press and hold for an absurd amount of time, in the second menu style. The default ui has you flip between every single setting to get to the reading you want. The spark plug temperature rings are replaceable but are far larger than before. It took a bit of trial and error bending the connector for it to fit within the fins on a Peugeot 103 moped while the old ones never had an issue. These could easily be the best gauges but for some reason Runleader focuses on their other gauges. They really just need to copy their other designs and have everything on one screen, Tach, temp, volt and time. Runleader has other gauges that do this but they don’t wire up to a battery or update as fast.

Delivery was a little long, but the product is well made and fullfilled all my expectation. Fit very well on my bike. Few days later, seen fog behind lens (dry out later in the sun). Still work perfectly. Edit: After half the season, in canadian summer, unit failed because unit is not waterproof as stated. At most, unit is waterresistant but not that much.

Wires are a bit short, but the main issue is the thermocoupler fails quite quickly. looking to get a replacement from seller... Tachometer works well, otherwise seems okay
