Great tool, bought because I had a lot of baseboard to install and the floor is not perfectly flat in places. Just set the height to the largest gap and scribe the baseboard then cut for a perfect fit. Super easy to use. Very practical size and functionality allows for the smallest of gaps. The lead is flat and records a thin line on the material to be cut that is easy to see.

Wow It's a fantastic scribe tool . I would recommend it to anyone! If I was to change anything I would make the bottom smoother so I dosen't mark walls ...... I put masking tape on it .
