Perfect! Just PERFECT!
Super easy to install and even came with a reminder magnet! I didn't have to run water or ice cube maker excessively long as with some others to "shake" the extra carbon off. Very pleased with purchase! Thank you! BTW, I'm a former RainSoft distributor so I know of what I speak! ☺

Not sure it actually filters anything
I put this filter in my Rainsoft 9878 Hydrafiner hoping it would reduce the total dissolved solids in my tap water. Unfortunately the regular faucet is reading 355ppm on my TDS EZ pen tool and the water coming from the Hydrafiner tap is reading 362ppm. According to the chart on the back of the pen carbon filtered water typically reads between 50-100 so unfortunately this filter isn't helping the TDS levels at all.
