Utterly Brilliant.
A compulsively, compelling and very readable book. I was gripped from the first word to the last. I love each of the characters, especially the main ones and some more than others. I feel by this stage in the Green Fields series that I kind of of tag along with them and their dislikes and mistrust have become mine as well. By the end of this book, it becomes apparent that blind trust in some people that just because you have known them for years should not be automatically given everyone has their price in the end except for the select few but who are they? I totally recommend this series, it's excellent.

Wow I didn't realise till the end that it was the last book & almost had a tear in my eye, it's like telling me I can't smoke today there's this sudden craving & you know it's not gonna go away, then I read that there is gonna be a book 7 YIYPEE!!! I'm doo happy now, I'm totally hooked on Bree & Nates antics, books play an incredibly big part in my life as I'm slightly disabled & don't sleep more than 1 or 2 hours a night & Addrienne has truly got my attention, I'd love them in book 7 to find a stray dog ie an alsation or Rottweiler & end up with him saving their bacon more than once, say she can sense the zombies ling before anyone can see them & she has pups n they train them to sense zombies as well & all the scavengers end up having one that travels with them & helps them etc etc I'm bursting with ideas & that's never happened with any book before (other than one other), I can't wait so hurry & get book 7 finished & thankyou for the hours of entertainment I've had reading them, I've got 3 if my friends hooked too lol,

love
I’m obsessed with this series and the twists and turns it takes, there are a few errors like she doesn’t feel hunger or thirst anymore but then a chapter starts with her being hungry and thirsty… normally that would put me off reading but the story is so worth investing in despite the human errors.

Good plot. In the first book
Honestly I've kept reading because I was interested in what happens next. It's not scintillating reading but I enjoy zombie books. I always need to finish no matter how terrible...Book one was about the world population turning into zombies. Book two was about zombies eating and fecal matter.. Book three was emoting your inner girl. Book four was about tampons.. Perhaps this isn't a fair summary but lo and behold, in book six there's rape, injecting women with the virus, continued experiments, making babies to do.. Unsure but, I'm calling it.At the point of the argument at 62%, every bit of the story is twisted to suit Aimes the newcomer soldier and Bree the scientist is still, continually, feeling emotional and can't support her argument using the facts (of the book). For example, Aimes says she must give herself up as a bargaining chip to save people dying... (Ignore the turning into a zombie, her continued mistreatment through all the books, her being locked up to be,.. Does it matter?), she emotes. That's what she had.
