Some funnels for the 54 mm Breville/Sage machines can feel slightly loose, but this one locks in place nicely and stays stable while dosing and distributing the grounds. The biggest benefit is reduced mess and waste. When grinding directly into the portafilter, especially with lighter roasts that tend to be fluffy, grounds often spill over the sides. With the CreepyParty funnel in place, everything stays neatly contained. This makes it much easier to use tools such as WDT needles or distribution tools without losing coffee over the edge. The build quality is better than expected for the price. The metal construction feels solid and durable, and the finish is smooth with no sharp edges. It’s lightweight but sturdy enough that it doesn’t shift while tapping or distributing the coffee bed. Another advantage is workflow efficiency. Works well with my Sage Barista Express. Stops everything getting too messy when grinding and using my WDT tool. I need to remove it when tamping since I use a palm tamper but this isn’t an issue. Time will tell how long it lasts, but for now it looks it’s a good quality product for the price!

My coffee setup is a Sage Bambino and a Sage Smart Grinder Pro. This dosing funnel fits the portafilter that came with the Bambino perfectly, and it works just about well enough with the Smart Grinder Pro. That 'just about' comment is because the 'wings' on the top of the dosing funnel, when fitted to the Bambino portafilter, do slot into the Grinder Pro's holder, but at a slight angle and it takes a couple of attempts to get the feel for it. Once you do, it works really well and significantly reduces mess and wastage. All you then need to do is tap the portafilter (with the dosing funnel still attached) a few times to level out the coffee, remove the dosing funnel, and tamp your coffee as normal. After the first couple of goes you'll find the right spot, and it becomes easy, mess-free, and helps you get the right dose each and every time.

Fits my Sage Barista nicely. Coffee goes in and stays in. Use my WDT tool. Remove the funnel. Tamp down. Pull espresso.

I’ve been looking for a dosing funnel for my Sage Barrista Touch, which has an integrated grinder, so the simple magnetic ones aren’t ideal as it would stop the portafilter being able to clip into the grinder. This works perfectly and clips to the portafilter whilst having lugs to rest in the grinder. There are a number of similar offerings from different manufacturers, and I was a bit put off because they all seem to have some reviews saying that there’s a gap between the funnel and portafilter that the coffee escapes from. I ended up getting this one as it’s metal and cheap and I don’t regret it at all. It’s a good fit, not too tight, not too loose and there’s absolutely no gap or spillage. Perhaps the lugs are not all in quite the same place for different machines, but for my machine this is transformative and I’m very happy with it.

This fits my portafilter really well, i was surprised that it's made of aluminium! An ideal upgrade for your machine, i was getting by with my 3D printed one for ages but this is much better. Well made and has lasted very well so far.

Using it on a Sage Bambino Plus and it has been quite helpful to avoid a mess with coffee grounds everytime I use a WDT.

This fits my Breville coffee grinder. It means that I do not have to stop during the grind and tamp down the grounds in the group handle. Grinds never spill, and are very easy to tamp down once the grind is finished. I did have to grind off one of the tabs so it would fit properly, but since it is aluminium that was no problem. I am very happy with this attachment for my grinder. Makes the production of good coffee much easier.
