Adafruit Drawdio Kit

1. I could not find all material in the kit per the Drawdio pencil assembly videos.2. After assembly Pencil will be fragile and hence not easier to maintained in kids hands.2. Assembly seems complex as it nee

Came with no instructions and came in a plastic bag. Bought as a gift, doesnt look very appealing

Would be 5 star except for 2 things... 1. There were no instructions for building. I had to go online and find some. They weren't for the exact same version of the product I had, but it got me by. 2. I would like to see a different method of connecting the circuit to the pencil lead. The tack works, but it's a bit hit-and-miss. (On the other hand, I haven't come up with anything better...)

The components mount on a carpenter’s pencil, which is wide and flat. Ingenious! But the kit is shipped with just a regular pencil. I had to go out and buy a carpenter’s pencil before I could assemble it.

The pencil that came with the kit was kind of "crappy" (it did not sharpen well) and there was not enough of the foil tape therefore the kit did not work well. I purchased a bigger carpenters pencil, a longer thumb tack and more foil tape and that worked a lot better....
