Works great!!!
My dog has an ear piercing bark and she goes on forever at the slightest provocation! No amount of commands, treats, vibrating collar, etc, can deter her. As someone that works from home, this is a major issue! Enter this thing! It's only been a few days but the effect has been dramatic! The device has a button that plays a tone people can hear, and one that only dogs can. I started by pressing the audible tone when she started barking w the command "quiet". If she stopped, she got a "good dog" and if not, I'd press the other button. She gets so surprised by the sound she instantly stops! The noise seems to be obnoxious or irritating to her, so much so that now when we go out in the yard and I grab the device she seems very wary of me (whoops). But she is much quieter now and immediately stops barking now, even to the extent that sometimes just pressing the audible tone is enough to get her to out of bark mode. Today she had a couple of instances where she merely barked in a low volume (!) instead of her usual, all out racket. Will she give up yapping all together? I doubt it, but this tool is seriously giving me a bit of my sanity back!

FINALLY, SOMETHING THAT WORKS!
My parents' dachshund barks at everything. Gardener? Bark. Thunder? Bark. Fly in the room? Bark. Fed up, I tried to help them with various solutions, none of which worked. Given their lack of adherence to using tricks and techniques I know from my own years of dog ownership, I was convinced that they would just be forced to live in a loud, bark-filled environment. Enter, this remote, which I bought as a last-ditch attempt to sooth my ears whenever I visit. I can't believe it, but it WORKS! I always use the warning tone beforehand, and if she continues to bark, I use the ultrasonic tone. I am also careful to use the same words to scold each time, so that it eventually negates the need for the remote. We've been using it for a couple of weeks, and now when she sees the remote she automatically stops barking. It is a MIRACLE! For those concerned it will hurt their dog's ears, you can rest easy. I held it up to my ear and listened, and it is just a high pitched sound. The descriptor I would use is akin to nails on a chalkboard, for humans. It's harmless, and now we only have to use it when the guardeners are here, who I am convinced tortured this dog in a past life, based on her reaction. I'm ordering a couple more now, as my parents are seniors and often misplace things, so this should cover it. I highly recommend! (I rarely review, I'm basically Ron Swanson in that way, so this is a big deal, for me).

Works
I got this to stop my own dog from barking at passers-by, because we don't have a fence and she's a big dog with a really scary bark. She's also a service dog, so taming that bark is kind of a thing, lol. We also have a little (old) Pomeranian, so it's interesting to see the difference in their reaction, and I think it's helpful information. The Goldendoodle almost hears it as a "hey, don't do that, ok?" The Pomeranian hears it as "WHAT THE HELL MAN?? DANGER DANGER!!! STOP THAT BECAUSE YOU'RE GOING TO DIE DIE DIE!!!" I don't know if it's an age thing or a size thing, but the two dogs definitely hear the buzzer differently. So much so that I make sure the little old dog is separated by a door or two when I use it with my Goldendoodle. So for the Goldendoodle it's great as a long-ish distance "no" when I don't want to yell or I don't want someone to hear me say no. (Like if well intentioned but clueless family is acting inappropriately with her, I can tell HER no without being harsh to them.) It gets her attention but it doesn't distress her, so I've been using it as a training aid and it works better than I expected. (I thought I'd just use it to keep her from barking and I rarely use it for that now.) I do wish it had a safety switch. If I put it in my purse the button can get pressed unintentionally, which makes it impractical to take places. I would use it more often if it had a safety. Also, I ordered the black SPECIFICALLY because it didn't have the kitty face on it, but it does. I'm probably going to cover it with a sharpie. I wasn't happy when it came with the kitty face. Grr. The different frequencies definitely work, lol... And, again, the two dogs great them differently. The old little dog is freaking traumatized (so I don't use the others at all because of that) and my Goldendoodle LOL, she's just really curious. She wanted to know what that sound was and where it was coming from. It would work great as an interruption, but it doesn't distress her at all. But the little dog probably has PTSD now. (Just kidding, she's ok!)

Works great, good size!
I have a very leash reactive rescue pittie mix - he's fine with dogs at daycare, but not seeing them on leash or out car window. He's clearly had some abuse in the past so I'm very careful on what I use. I found by accident if you just make a noise (sometimes the clicker alone works) it will stop his reactivity immediately. I know the clicker is not intended to work like that, but if it stops him from lunging/barking, I'm for it, and I know that is not harmful for him. I also love the size of this, fits in hand along with excess leash on walks. I usually hold clicker and keep this in my pocket just in case. I have not even had to use the ultrasonic button. Also, flashlight is handy. All dogs are going to be different, but for my pup I'm happy to have found something that works since I would not want to put him through any more trauma than he has already experienced in his previous home.

Blown Away- Extremely Effective
I’m so glad this product exists. I could never put a shock collar on my baby, but she’s a rambunctious rescue who, after 3 years, still has as much energy as ever. She’s really smart and needs a lot of mental stimulation which I am always searching new ways to provide her, but she’s recently developed some nasty habits of barking at me incessantly every time I dare sit down, because she wants to play play play. There’s also some leash reactivity she developed after we moved a few months ago, and the accompanying clicker is helping with that. I’m only 24 hours in to owning this product and she has done a complete 180 and is the most obedient dog around. I’m in shock. I knew she was smart but WOW this product is amazing. The additional clicker is just an added benefit for learning new tricks and advancing your dogs leash training if they’re a puller or have reactivity, of which I have both. This was A LOT OF INFO but i’m seriously so relieved to have my life back. Her recent barking habit has been a big source of anxiety and we all are happier now, which gives us more time to snuggle! TL;DR highly recommend highly effective

JUNK!! Does not hold charge
This device worked fine for a few months only to stop fully changing. When I plugged the device in the red light would come on and within minutes the light would be green indicating the device is fully charged...unplugged it and used it within minutes when my dog started barking... and nothing..the dog wasn't phased. Immediately plugged it in again and red indicator came on. Left it plugged in until green light and again went to use it to no success. I have ordered pthese exact devices twice and both do not hold a change after a short period of time..mainly after the money back warranty has expired. (Of course). Tried contacting NZONPET from the provided customer service phone number only to find out that it has been disconnected and their customer service e-mail is non existence. Do not purchase this device otherwise you will not be sucessful in contacting the company when you have device issues. Disposable Junk!

Other bark devices will be silent to human ear
I know it works it messes with my Bluetooth and phone connection before you can even hear the high pitched squeak, but it’s so loud it makes my tinnitus aka ear ringing worse. Pretty sure it can damage human hearing. Not a proper dog bark deterrent. Takes awhile but also sometimes stop the neighbors dogs, but it isn’t worth it. My family has a barkxbuddy one and it is way more effective and worth it. Save your money. This one just hurts ears.
