It does what it says. Good quality toothbrush with decent battery life (lasts about 2 weeks and takes around 12 hours for charging). It does not come with a travel case. It has 3 speed/modes though I always use daily clean, Vibration level is good too, doesn’t feel too harsh but cleans effectively. Cost effective if on a deal. Recommended

These are great toothbrushes! After using a 'lesser' Oral-B toothbrush, I was surprised that my teeth felt cleaner after using this toothbrush, the pressure indicator is very helpful and the battery life is better too (though it does take 12hrs for a full charge) I'm pretty sure the 'whitening' mode is just a gimmick but I can see the point of the lower power mode. Replacement heads are readily available and cheaper compatible heads can be used as well (though I have sometimes found these to be harder and can irritate my gums). Great product, very happy.

I decided to try this after using a Philips Sonicare for many years. The Sonicare is great, but I find the vibration of the brush very uncomfortable due to a car crash a long time ago. The Oral-B has less vibration of the brush and I find it much more comfortable. I find that this gets my teeth clean brilliantly, no complaints in that department at all. The niggles I have are as follows; 1. The pressure indicator only lights when you press too hard, there is no not-hard-enough or just-right lighting. It is impossible to tell whether I am pressing hard enough, so have to trust that I am using it right. 2. The plastic looks very cheap; shiny, attracts fingerprints, slippery when wet. I guess at this price I cannot complain! 3. The on-off button is hard to find and hard to press. It also doesn't auto turn off, you have to keep pressing the button until it stops. This also has the side effect that it cannot remember the last setting used, so you have to cycle through until you get it where you want it. The first setting works for me, so this is mostly a nuisance. Overall I think this is decent value, but I would have gone for a more expensive model had I known the shortcomings of this one. Note to Oral-B marketing dept: you messed up there!

Dental hygienist advised we both needed to improve our electric toothbrushing technique. She demonstrated the correction action, on a set of teeth, using a rotary brush head We had regularly replaced the heads on our non-rotary electric tooth brushes and it has previously served us well. The performance of these new Oral B Pro 3 handles and brushes gives the appearance and feeling of having a thorough final brush at a dental surgery. For us the suggestion from other reviewers that the handles were too slippery was not valid. Our grip is between two fingers and a thumb. That hold provides sufficient pressure for effective brushing action. Perhaps problems arise for those holding the brush tightly in the palm of the hand with the risk of putting too much pressure on the brush head? We would have preferred the control button to be easier to find by touch and the unit is streamlined in the interests of hygiene. We are gradually learning how to find the turn off control whilst the toothbrush is in the mouth as it does not stop when your two minute cycle is finished. Impressed with the sturdiness of the casing surrounding the drive shaft as this can be a weakness in other models. The Oral B Pro range costs much less than the iO series, yet does the job just as well. You don't need all the extra bells and whistles. This model also has the long-lasting lithium ion battery. Even better, I had bought a bunch of Oral B Pro toothbrush heads for the older range, and they fit this model, too - but not the iO series. This Pro model is definitely the best value for money. Go for it! Just one thing: this model has a more powerful motor than the earlier Pro models, so it's noisier. Doesn't bother me, but it might if a partner was sleeping nearby!

We bought this for my husband and myself. It was a good price for 2 brushes. The Battery charge lasts for 2wks easily and it is excellent that it lights up if you are brushing too hard. The timing for each quarter of your mouth is also very good . We both noticed a difference in how clean our teeth were after the first few days. (Our old electric toothbrushes had broken a few months ago and we had been using plastic ones for past few months) I haven't put anything for bluetooth because I don't know if these toothbrushes have this and if they do we didn't buy them for that , we just want a good electrictoothbrush that will clean all areas of our teeth these do that and the buzzing after 30 seconds prompts us to move to the extra area ensuring that each quarter of the mouth is covered . The bonus for us ,as I said earlier was the red light around the neck of the brush which light up if we put too much pressure on when brushing. We will be able to buy replacement heads easily and bought plastic brushhead covers (to store hygenicly in the bathroom )quite cheaply but it is a shame Oral b/braun dont make any . So that is why we gave it 5 stars
