DNA Repair Complex 15mL Scar Treatment Serum, Post-Procedure and Skin Damage Solution

I will update again after a few more weeks, but after only using it for a few days, I can already see results and they are very encouraging. Edit: *****2 WEEK UPDATE***** OK here's a 2 week update. Progress going extremely well. The biggest change since the original post is that the scars are now almost completely flat with the surrounding skin. Also, huge improvements in texture quality of skin and finally, the hyperpigmentation is MUCH better than it was 2 weeks ago. The hyperpigmentation was the slowest to improve, but I noticed a big change in the second week. Damn, this thing might actually work! Will do another update in another 2 weeks! My scars aren't that big, but they are old and have proven very difficult to get rid of. I have mild hypertrophic scarring underneath both of my eyes, plus hyperpigmentation, which makes me look a bit older than my age due to my eyes not being as lifted as they should. I got them many years ago due to abusing a skin cleaning product with aluminum crystals, and tried damn near everything under the Sun to get rid of them since, to include copper peptides, acid peels, high potency DMSO+MSM, snail creams, essential oils, liquid silicone, ancient Chinese medicine etcetera. You name it, I've tried it. Some made the scars worse, and some helped and shrunk the scars significantly, but none of them ever got rid of them completely. Which brings me to this product. It's fairly expensive and has exotic ingredients. I was feeling depressed that I still had not gotten rid of my scars, so I decided to try it out of desperation before the mask mandate lifts at my workplace. After using it for a few days, I've noticed that it has had a remarkable impact on the texture and thickness of the scar tissue. The product claims to affect the skin cells on the molecular level via repairing damaged DNA and restoring normalcy to the skin with their proprietary ingredient lapachol, which comes from Pau d' Arco; some kind of Amazonian tree bark with medicinal properties. So far I am of a mind to believe these claims, because the speed at which the scars have improved so far have left me with some sorely needed confidence that I might finally get rid of these damn scars; or at the very least improve them to the point that they become unnoticeable. The product itself is extremely light and not greasy at all, and absorbs very quickly so you can easily wear it during the day time at work or in public, which is a blessing because I've tried products in the past where I could only use them when I'm at home. The only real disappointment so far is that rate of improvement for my hyperpigmentation is much slower than the reduction in mass and texture improvement of the scar tissue itself. It's still improving, just nowhere near as fast as the other two factors. Can't say I'm really surprised at this though, because persistent hyperpigmentation like what I have is usually much deeper in the skin, so reversing that will take the longest time. Anyway, hope this review helps others to decide whether to buy this product or not. I will update this review in two week increments.

I was looking for a new product that could help reduce redness - mostly due to stress and spending too much time in the sun over the summer. So I knew I needed to find something that also has some repair properties. ie fix me. I'm over 50 so I can I need lots of help. What I like about this is the texture. It's not sticky and glides really well. I've been using it two weeks and the texture of my skin is amazing. My pores are visible tighter. The redness in my cheeks looks better - I've noticed that I use less makeup and my makeup goes on easier. In other words, I don't have to spackle primer on before I put on my foundation. Also the hydration content in my skin feel better. The most noticeable result is that my under-eyes are less puffy. I didn't see anything in the description that said this was something promised, but it should be! Highly recommend. I wish I had bought the large bottle.

It’s too expensive it only lasted about 2 weeks the price shouldn’t be too high for the amount it brings but other than that I guess it’s a good moisturizer it really doesn’t help scars

I used it as directed and it only lasted 3 weeks. A little too pricey. Nice lotion though.

Think I need a little more time than a month with this product. It seems to be helping scars that I have on my face. That would honestly be the best thing ever!

I purchased this because I had deep-micro needling treatment and will be getting CO2 fraxel laser later. It used to take me 3-4 weeks or longer for my face to recover(like no visible dots on my face) from such treatments, and I hoped this cream will make me heal faster and it did!!! It only took me less than 1 week for my microneedling wounds to heal and all redness went away!!! However I prior to any facial treatment I had a 2-3 weeks old acne scar that I tried to fix with this cream and it didn’t really help much. But then yesterday I picked my acne, and got new wounds I put this cream on before bed and today I woke up and surprisingly saw that the wounds have already scabbed. To conclude, this thing works amazingly on new wounds, but for old scars(like 2 WKHs or older) you really need laser/micro-needling or some surgeries to fix them (I’ve tried numerous cream/gel to fix old scars and yeah it was a completely waste of money… I won’t say there’s no changes at all but it’s very very minimal that it’s hard to notice)

Total ripoff. Good marketing suckered me in. Don't waste your money.
