This purchase turned out to be an unexpected delight. Given its size and cost (I bought it to replace a similar device that cost three times as much and quit working on me after a couple of years), I didn't expect all the features it has. You can switch between four sources easily (although I still don't understand why two inputs are SDI and two are HDMI? Why not make them all the same?) I use it in a church setting with three cameras and a PC connected (the PC supplies the lyrics). Its feature allows me to keep the lyrics on the bottom of the screen as I switch between cameras. I wish it would allow you to route the connected devices to one of the four control buttons instead of their being fixed, but I have gotten used to that. Since it has a lid that fully encloses it, this device would be more useful for going on the road instead of being in a fixed location as I am using it, but it is doing what I need it to do. Good device.

Excellent quality. Transition from one audio video file to another is excellent. picture quality is excellent. Is easy to navigate through menu. Over all excellent. Bought warrantee to be safe. This unit does a lot.

First off I like this thing. It has been super handy in my workflow. But that is not the problem I have with it. It is more on the customer service and technical side. I'm jumpin' through hoops trying to get the firmware update from someone. The site provides only a user manual, (which tells me nothing about how to update the firmware) and Ethernet connection software, (that is in a language I cant read). My workaround works because I use an external capture card, (HD60 S+) for my pc to even see the signal through OBS. The Mac picks it up via USB, but not my pc. For future costumers you should provide the latest firmware with their purchases so they don't go through the hassle that I did.

This is a very versatile switcher. It is great to take on the road as well as permanently installed in a studio. The features built into this unit also make it very attractive at a great price! Dave

Bon produit, fonctionne bien. MAIS pas d'enregistrement directement sur une clé usb ou carte mémoire, et pas de streaming. Il faut un ordi connecté. Choisissez le shark s4 plus si vous avez besoin de ces fonctions.
