This is very cheaply made & it's kinda odd. There is an attached lanyard that has no place to stow, so it just kinda hangs outside the case. The lanyard is also cheap, and does not connect correctly or conveniently to the GPS device itself. I immediately cut it off and used a piece of fishing line which can be wrapped around the GPS (so it doesn't add bulk) and fits still inside the case itself. Lastly, if you put the GPS in this case upside down vs. right side up as shown, the buckle also closes better and there is less stress on the buckle (which is totally cheap junk). There is no reason this is so poorly constructed or thought out...
