Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 Book Light with Adaptor - Pink

I bought the pink light with the adaptor to use when we travel to go racing. The neck of this light is so flimsy it does not stay in place. Everytime we hit a bump it leans farther and farther back and to the left. I literally have to hold the neck in order to use the light. I would not recommend to anyone.

The light started out great. Unlike many other reading lights, it came with a cord to use instead of having to rely on batteries. However, after only a few months of use, the hole where the plug is inserted into the light lost the little rubber circle that holds the plug-in in place and now, in order to use the light with the plug, I have to push the plug-in into place and hold while using the light or the light shuts off. Maybe I can find another black rubber circle to insert and fix it; I just wish it would have been a better quality product. Live and learn, I guess.

This light is definitely bright--for many people, that's a good thing. For me, it's a little too much. I bought this because my fiance likes to go to sleep before I do and we had the classic bedside lamp struggle every night. But with this, it's basically the same thing. The light is also very white, and ideally I'd like a warmer light for reading (though I know that's tough if you don't want incandescent bulbs). The adapter is great to have, though, for when we're at home and not traveling. Ultimately this does the job for the time being, but I am on the lookout for something I like better.

This is a great little light, I was especially glad to get the AC adapter included at a great price. The light is very bright and stays in place very well. My only knock is that going from 2 LEDs to one barely dims the light at all, I would prefer something close to half as bright.

I read in bed, and not to disturb my husband I use book lights. I go through bulbs and batteries like crazy! This one is great, uses a plug in adaptor (saves on batteries) and has the LCD light bulbs that supposidly don't ever need to be replaced. I figure, it will pay for itself after a couple books. Works great, it flexible, long cord too.

Was very happy with the light when I received; good price and bright light.Unfortunately, almost immediately I started having problems with the on/off button. Now button doesn't work at all.I thought I had contacted seller last week but have not received response; perhaps I sent to Amazon when I meant toseller.

This is the 4th Mighty Bright light that I have purchased. The 1st was a MB Craft light. It was nice but was lacking something. When I bought my Kindle2, I bought the MB Flex LED and fell in love! I liked it so much that I bought one in purple. Now, with the purchase of my K3, I wanted something girly, so I ordered the MB Flex LED in pink with the adapter. Unfortunately, I have to send this one back as it's missing a gripper pad and won't stay put. I'm still giving it 4 stars based on previous experience & performance.

We have two of these in my household, and they are perfect for traveling, or for use during electric power outages. Our Kindles have "Tuf-Luv" leather cases, one is pink, the other is black. The Mighty Bright comes in a multitude of colors, so we were able to get book lights color-matched to our Kindle cases. The Mighty Bright clamps securely onto the Kindle, with or without the leather case, and the flexible neck adjusts to any position necessary to cast the proper lighting on the Kindle screen. The two-position switch gives a choice of high or low intensity light. The low position works fine for me, but perhaps people with poor eyesight will appreciate the higher intensity position. FIVE STARS for this excellent product!
