Nothing caught yet. Appears well made and good action. Great price as in local shop is about $150 pounds. Two reels. Very large and strong. Let's hope it brings in a monster

I own 2 of these beauties. I did not write a review until I had thoroughly tested the reels and how they handled larger fish. I can tell you this, they have been tested. This is a reel that is a must have if you fish in the surf or just want a long safe cast. This thing does not even hesitate to take on the big ones. I use 50# braid on mine and they perform exceptionally. After a year of hard fishing, they are still just like new. A few scrapes but still a masterpiece. What else can I say, they are Penn and that is all I need to say besides what I have written. Keep them clean and I think they will last forever. I live in Florida, and they are always my go to rod and reel combo.
