ND filter works perfectly! Used it for my 16mm lens (24mm full frame equivalent) on a aps-c camera. Zero vignetting all the way down to the last stop. Only shows X when you go past the ND400. Even directly only ND400 there is zero vignetting. Perfect for my Sony ZV-E10 II. Highly recommended!

Got the 1-9 to try it out. The only unfortunate thing is the label is on the bottom of one of my lenses. The other lens it's on the side. Seems to be due to the cut of the threads on the lens, not the filter.

K&F filters are fantastic, work as promised with zero distortion. Made with Japanese optical glass. Reasonably priced filters that are excellent!

Camera - fx3 in slog3 shooting in 4K 4:2:2 10bit 24fps 1/50, 640 iso f1.4 on a 40mm sigma art. With the nd set on its darkest setting with the above settings on a very bright day it’s slightly over exposed with the aperture wide open. If I close it a little to f2.8 it’s a little under exposed in which i need to open the nd filter slightly. This does work really well for video work, it does have a slight color cast but it can be remedied either by adjusting your wb or just fix it in post. It’s negligible if your shooting in log. It doesn’t have hard stops so it does have an x if you go past the working ranges. And if you’re new to ND filters without stops, this doesn’t mean that the filter doesn’t work, it just means that you have to pay attention not to go past. Another thing worth noting is that the markings on the filter are not accurately lined up so it’s best to just either make your own markings or make notations on the ring to tell what is fully closed and what is wide-open without the X appearing. It’s honestly a great ND filter minus the lack of hard stops. The only other annoyance is that it doesn’t come with a cap but K & F does sell one for their older models that will fit this newer model, but you will have to cut a notch in the cap for it to fit correctly. I added a picture of this. I chose this over going with a polar pro due to cost effectiveness, and I’m not upset about it. There is another version of this filter that goes one stop darker up to nd1000 that I was considering getting. But my fastest lens is a 1.4 prime. If I had anything less than that and I wanted to shoot wide-open I would get that filter instead.

UPDATED REVIEW - Although I was disappointed in this filter, I have to say that the customer service is absolutely incredible in wanting to make things right by either refunding or giving me the option to choose another product. Anna from Customer service responded very quickly to my issue. Thank you for standing by your products! I really like the putter - it's so much easier to manipulate the filter. I am disappointed in the color cast and dark X type thing at certain times - not sure why this happens...

What I was looking for

Careful ordering these products, first time I order this I received the wrong filter in the right box. Looks like someone ordered two filters and returned the cheaper one instead and Amazon doesn't check to see if the product that was returned is the correct one. Amazon does the fulfillment here so they just throw it in a box and send it to the next costumer. MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOU GOT THE RIGHT ITEM. Having said that I do like the filter so far, not seeing much of a color cast at all but have not test in all conditions. the putter is nice, and the filter looks high quality. I've been using with an iPhone so not with my regular camera so I can't speak to whether or not there is any vignetting in a proper camera setup.

After several months of use, the filter has a stain in the middle that distorts the image quality by creating color discoloration, the stain cannot be cleaned because it is created between layers that can be seen in daylight. Impossible to contact the seller.There is no warranty policy.

Iniziamo col dire che per questa fascia di prezzo sicuramente un filtro variabile come questo svolge egregiamente il suo lavoro.nonostante sia abbastanza economico la resa fotografica è ottima e i colori sono anche molto più saturi rispetto a quanto mi sarei aspettato. Ci sono però dei lati negativi: spostandosi troppo oltre il livello massimo di 400 iniziano delle aberrazioni dell’immagine con delle ombre scure piuttosto importanti. Sarebbe stato ottimo se avessi avuto un inizio e un fine corsa, cosa attualmente mancante e che che appunto questi problemi di ombre scure quasi come se si trattasse di filtri polarizzati che si sovrappongono variando la quantità di luce che entra.nell’insieme un buon prodotto ma non professionale .

Cercavo un filtro ND variabile che mi permettesse di scattare con ogni condizione di luce. Il filtro è ben fatto ma presenta alti estremi la fastidiosa X . Da utilizzare negli intervalli intermedi

El filtro K&F Concept Nano-X ND variable ha sido una adición impresionante a mi equipo fotográfico. Con un rango de ND2 a ND400, tengo la flexibilidad de ajustar la exposición en diversas condiciones de luz sin necesidad de cambiar constantemente de filtro. Lo he probado en varias sesiones al aire libre y me encanta cómo me permite controlar el efecto en el agua o en el cielo, dándome ese toque profesional que siempre busco en mis fotos de paisajes. La calidad de la construcción es excelente, y el vidrio es muy nítido; no he notado ningún efecto de viñeteado ni pérdida de detalle, incluso en los niveles más altos de densidad. Además, la rotación del filtro es muy suave, permitiéndome ajustar con precisión sin problemas. Otra cosa que me ha sorprendido gratamente es lo delgado y liviano que es. No se suma peso a mi cámara y no ocupa casi nada en mi bolsa, así que puedo llevarlo a todas partes sin pensarlo dos veces. También agradezco la capa antirreflejos, que realmente ayuda a reducir los destellos y mejorar el contraste, especialmente en condiciones de mucha luz. Modifica un poco el color pero nada que sea muy molesto a menos que seas un profesional que necesite que si o si no se modifique ni un poquito el color.
