MOST OF THESE, AT LEAST THE ONES I'VE ENCOUNTERED, U NEED AN ALLEN WRENCH TO ADJUST THE TENSION THAT CONTROL HOW MUCH EFFORT IT TAKES TO DEPRESS OR RETRACT THE TEETH OR SPLINES. PLUS, THEY GIVE U 2 EXTRA TEETH IN CASE OF DAMAGE OR BREAKAGE BUT THE TEETH OR FINGERS ARE FLEXIBLE, DURABLE PLASTIC THAT DON'T GET BRITTLE. TAKE CARE OF UR TOOLS, ALL OF THEM, KEEP THEM CLEAN, THEY'LL TAKE CARE OF YOU FOR MANY YEARS TO COME. IT'S CONVENIENT TO HAVE A RECESSED CAM LOCK ON THE SIDE TO LOCK IN UR PROFILES. I'M NOT SURE IF THIS TOOL IS MADE IN THE U.S.A., WHICH IS IMPORTANT TO ME WHEN I CAN FIND THEM, BUT IT'S A DECENT QUALITY PROFILE TRANSFER TOOL.

I got caught up by the TV commercial… ok, it works, and locks fine. I kept it. But it turns out this contraption has been around for 50 years… it’s available in metal, with a much finer gauge (if smaller) at local hardware stores. So I bought one of those too.

I didn't hear from support staff, but directly from the owner when I voiced my displeasure with the original purchase. He went out of his way to follow up after my replacement arrived to make sure I was happy with it.
