Hey all. Here's a real review. Works exactly as advertised. First the bad, then the good. Some slight catches: there's a hole just above the fill line. It's there to keep the thing from being too full. Ask me how i found out about that. Water everywhere. It's very light. That can be good or bad. But it will fall over easily. There's nothing holding the cup in place, so if anything jostles it, the whole thing spills everywhere. That said, it works exactly as advertised. It works FAST. Like, from hitting the button, it's MAYBE two minutes tops, before you have your drink. That is just perfect. It's very quiet. It makes weird choking sorta noises, but they are quiet. If you want to use it at 3am, you can without waking anyone, even if they are in the same room. Very beneficial. Not complicated. There's a cord, a switch, and a cup. TLDR: for the.. 20-25$? i spent? probably the best purchase I've made this year. It's little, and its useful, it does what's on the tin. if you want a hot drink on demand, get it. i live in canada, we're just coming off winter, if I had bought it sooner, i'd be testing the warranty for 'overuse'

I am not sure this piece of cheap plastic produces coffee beverage, but it does. And it does it in a fast manner. I'm shocked, that this flimsy plastic wonder actually brews coffee. And, miracle of miracles, it does it fast! Cleaning's a breeze, unless you use fine grind coffee, which is like asking for a clog party. The single button was clearly designed by someone who's never met a button before. It's like they asked a toddler to draw a button and voilà! You need to press it firmly (with both hands, because why not?) and wait 2-3 minutes for it to auto-shut off. It's like a coffee-making puzzle! Despite its cheap looks and feel, this little guy delivers. The cup size is perfect for a quick buzz (not too huge, thank goodness). Plus, it's portable – fits in your car, and you can even walk with it. I mean, who needs design when you get caffeine, right? I'll keep it. Update: This thing did not last more than 3 months. Started to produce half of a cup only. Cleaned as per instructions - works 1-2 times, then same problem. Do not buy, 3 months is not enough even for a cheap piece of crap.

Had this for 5 months now, still going strong. Makes a good mug of coffee, particularly if you only want one cup of coffee but want something of higher quality and ecofriendliness than pod machines. I measured the water temperature when I first got it because I hate coffee that has burned flavours in it; it dispenses at 195F which is the usual ideal. I bought it when we were moving, expecting to use it a month or so and then stuff it in a closet, but it's actually become my main way to make a cup. For the price, this was a great purchase.

Black & Decker products are definitely not made the same as they used to be. Absolutely the worst product that was made extremely cheaply & without integrity. The start button broke after gentle use leaving the entire machine useless. This is my second newly purchased, useless Black & Decker product that has broken this year! I won’t waste my time or my energy following up with Black & Decker because they don’t care about their customers or their reputation. This was demonstrated to me recently when I was told by Black & Decker that they did not have an available blender for replacement, despite the blender still being under warranty. Please do not waste your hard earned money on this inferior, substandard company. They don’t deserve your business. Save yourself a big headache, time & money and buy a better product from a reputable company that wants to deliver a better quality product & provide customer service when required.
