Was surprised at how quickly these came, a week early, considering they were shipped from Japan. The colors are bright and colorful, highly pigmented, smooth, and of great quality. They do dry very quickly, so consider some blending medium if you need to extend the drying time. A great value, as the local art chain sells this set for $35 more that this price.

The poster colors are the best I have ever used. Love them. I got the 36 colors in 40ml bottles. Brilliant rich colors and love their smoothness and the way they spread on paper. The delivery was smooth and quicker than what was mentioned, in spite of being an international delivery. The package arrived undamaged but 3 of the colors (mainly the binder liquid I think) had leaked inside the box a bit. I found the 3 that had leaked, the bottles were not closed tightly enough, maybe that is something that could be payed attention to while boxing. I would definitely recommend buying this.

These paints are fantastic. They thin nicely and dont get as muddy as gouache. They really retain their vibrance as you work.

I purchased the Knicker poster colours because I love working with guouche and because these are the paints traditionally used by Studio Ghibli in making their animations. The paint is thick, opaque and heavily pigmented, but it can be watered down to make washes, providing versatility. This paint is a good alternative to acrylic, but can also be used with watercolour. Due to the high pigmentation the paint is good value for money. This set has a good range of colours, but I find there are more greens than I need, and not enough tertiaries or neutrals. An excellent product.
