Checks off all the boxes for me. Keeps warm for so long. Handle is comfortable. (I don’t wash it in the dishwasher because of the cork. Maybe the only downside but I love the design.) Lid is well-designed, it doesn’t leak. I find the shape of the whole thing pretty sleek. What a price/performance mug. I keep buying and gifting.

Great coffee mug, lid does not leak and this light blue color is great. Retains the coffee heat even without the lid. The handle has retained the cork pad too. We have all the colors and just love them

I love this color - it reminds me of old camping cookware. This is a great product. It doesn't leak when tipped over, it keeps the heat inside where it belongs, and the cork on the handle is a nice touch. It fits into my smaller than usual cup holder in my car. The handle is up high enough to prevent problems with any cup holder. The only things stopping me from giving it 5 stars is the exaggeration of the time it keeps things hot. It is a nicely made, double-wall insulated mug. But 5 hours hot is pushing it. I'll give them 5 hours warm, but not really hot. Still, overall a great product and it has become my go to coffee travel mug. UPDATE: After a while, it becomes apparent you can’t clean the lid properly no matter what you do or what Ello says about salt and ice. It develops black mold in between the parts. If you take it apart with force, you will see all the mold, but be aware it can’t be put back together. New lids are available from Ello directly for $5.99 plus shipping, so you may as well buy a new mug. Very disappointing. I have 3 of these and the plastic handle came off of one the newer ones too… seems some are more cheaply made than the original I bought.

I love these. I keep buying them. I have about 6 now. Everybody loves them. They fit cup holders in the car. The lid works like a charm. The cork handle is comfortable and has never broken off or become loose or anything. I love how hot they keep my coffee. These outpace any other stainless steel travel mug I've ever had because the lid is so effective. They look nice, too!

My daughter bought this for me, because I love the classic blue camping look. It reminds me of my Grandma, making her Sanka, each morning. The smells remind me of her little home in Elsinore (California), where we would go for a weekend to run and play at Grandma and Granpa's place. I loved their place, there with the pomegranite trees. Grandma had this off white chenille bed spread with this lavendar/white stuffed bear that sat on the chair next to the bed. They always put me on the couch at night and I would snuggle up in my sleeping bag and watch Grandma talking with my Mom at the kitchen table with the red checkered table cloth. I had so many good memories there, of Grandpa playing the banjo and everyone singing bluegrass hymns. No matter what I was going through in my day to day life, Grandma made me feel welcome and loved. This mug reminds me of her and for that...I love it. The mug also has an amazing feature where my tea stays hot for HOURS, does not spill and the handle makes it perfect to hold. DEFINIETLY recommend getting one of your own.

I’d say this is a solid 4.5 star travel mug. I like that the exterior stays cool and the contents stay hot. The lid is dual position, so depending where you start threading it on will result in the lid stopping in one of the two available positions. The finish is also quite nice. The only thing I don’t like is it’s hard to clean the lid recessed anreas and the seal on the spout has already started to discolor from coffee. I brew 14 oz into this mug and it works perfect. Zero leaks. Zero drama. If buy it again.

Update after a month of daily use- it doesn’t fit well into cup holders - the base is just a tiny bit too wide so you have to wedge it in. Insulation is mediocre. Hot drinks are warmish after 2 hours. Good for a morning commute but not beyond. Handle is comfortable and the size is just right. Handwashing the mug itself isn’t bad if you have small hands, but dishwasher safe would be better. The lid is not the worst out there, but it’s not great. The lock is smooth but cannot be fully disassembled so there is a chance for mold. There is a gasket on the lower part of the mechanism to prevent leaks but it REALLY absorbs smells. That can go through the dishwasher at least. But if you don’t need full leak protection, just leave it off (keeps it sealed when on its side or upside down, it’s not needed for regular drinking position). It’s not a terrible product at the price I paid, but the daily annoyances have me looking for something else already.
