The description states that the product was manufactured in Japan, but the product says “Made in China”.

Great little aluminum case. I can fit three mechanical pencils, two retractable erasers (Steadtler and a Tombow Mono), and some small aluminum fold back clips perfect for my watercolour sketchbook. It's fairly low profile, and fits very nicely into my travelling art kit bag. The aluminum feels sturdy enough that the points of mechanical pencils won't get warped while moving around. I might pick up another some time for my travelling folding brushes as well.
